"Who the hell is that?" Asks one of the Lost Boys, Fin.

"I know as much as you, which is nothing. Yet. Must've washed up last night, probably during the storm," I reply.

I walk over to the body lying face down on the sand, half on shore, and half in the water. The hood covers the face, making it impossible to tell who it is. Fin joins me, and crouches down next to it; he places his hands on the body and rolls it away from him.

They all gasp.

"It's a girl!" One of them shouts.

I study her, quickly realising what's in front of us, "It's not just a girl, boys...it's a pirate girl," I say.

She suddenly coughs, water spraying up everywhere. She keeps coughing, until her lungs are clear. Her eyes half-open, but roll back and shut again as she passes out.

"This...is going to be interesting." I mutter to myself.

"What's Pan going to do?" Fin asks, panicking.

"Calm down. We'll find out soon. Pick her up, take her to the clearing in the forest," I order.

They immediately follow my command and carry her away. We arrive at the clearing; I pull up some wood and it turns into a chair by the power of will. The Boys place her still-unconscious body on it in a seated position, holding her in place so she won't fall off, awaiting instruction.

"Tie her, we can't risk her escaping when she wakes up," I order and take a seat against a tree.

"Felix, what's Pan gonna say if he finds us with her...like that?" Asks Bobby, one of the youngest Lost Boys.

"Pan's not here. He'll find her as soon as he gets back. We're fine," I say, placing my toothpick back in my mouth.

The back of my head throbs like crazy; I try to move my hands up to touch it, but I find I can't. I become aware of my body. Am I sitting? I must be...I shift my hands and feel the vine around my wrists, binding them together. I blink my eyes open and frown against the sun's bright light, trying to stop it from hurting my head even more. I move my head but end up groaning in pain.

Bugger that hurts.

I raise my head and squint as my eyes focus; as soon as I can see clearly, I see that there are about...one, two, three, four...about twenty boys of ranging ages watching me. I'm sitting, but my hands are tied behind me around a chair.

"She's alive..." One of them says in the shadow of a tree.

I look straight ahead to see the tallest one emerge, the majority of his face covered by his hood and a wooden club over his shoulder. As he comes closer, I see a scar going right across his face, from above his left eye, down the bridge of his nose on to his right cheek and some messy blond hair peeping through from under his hood. Oh, how charming.

"You're going to find it hard to kill me," I say smugly. I have just survived a monster, a storm, and being unconscious underwater.

"What's your name?" He asks, swinging his bat down so it's by his side.

I lean back in my chair and cross my legs, "Davina. Davina Jones."

"So, Davina..." he says my name as if it's poison on his tongue, "how did you get here?"

"First of all, where is here?" I ask.
