"excuse me?"tara tapped on unknown boy's shoulder with anxiety
"You need help?"he asked turning to her
"Actually mujhe aapko kuch dena tha."she said innocently bitting her inner cheek
"Scuse me?"he frowned
"Actually tum deserve bhi krte ho."she continued scrubbing her palms in attempt of making them normal
"What?"he asked amusingly shoving his hands in his pants pocket
"This."she greeted her teeth and slapped him just across his right chick
She gathered so much attention from other students and she never thought about being courageous.. like tara,that girl hit a boy in front of whole college.. Matlab woww, college ke pehle din ki excitement ke saath saath ek aur adventure,,she thought but that boy was still in his place without any emotion..tara expected him to get violent after huge insult but there's nothing except his emotionless eyes..
"You know what tum seniors ki wajah se hum college me bhi safe feel nhi krte."she said in rage coming more close to him
"Ye tum logo ki duty hai, to provide us a healthy and friendly atmosphere."she said pointing her finger to him but nothing came from him
"But jerk like you, always finds satisfaction in others misery, right?"she chuckled with a sadness feeling uncomfortable in his constant gaze
"Jaise tum filhal mujhe ghur rhe ho, I guess ek thappad se kuch nhi hoga."she raised her hand again to slap him with a full force
"May I know you?"he held her hand in air before it hits him and asked confusingly
"No, but I got to know you a very well."she pulled her hand from his grip with a force
"And ragging is a crime, you should know that, not for only knowledge."she taunted other two boys rubbing her wrist which she freed from him
"Hey girl, come it's okay."karan dragged her from there while tara turned to take look at that boy
"Calm down, you know what I'm so proud of you."karan side hugged her as soon as they reached out of that boy's view
"Karan, don't you think we shoud infom to authority for this ragging issue."she asked taking chair in front of table
"No, I don't think so, it's normal here now a days."he said casually sitting next to her
"Listen ragging sirf do yaa teen din ke liye hoti hai,wo bhi apna gussa nikalne ke liye, like humne test diya tha,to fresher's kyu nhi, types."he explained while ordering food for them
"But phir bhi?"she tried
"Relax,utna to jhelna pdega."he stated passing plate of food to tara
Tara is sipping her coffee while his all attention in his mobile.tara is not at all convince about his logic but still,hume kya
"Hey karan."a girl cringed next to him caressing his shoulder seductively
"Hey,babe,see I want to introduce you to this beautiful lady here."he said excitedly pointing at tara flashing his 32
"Who is she."a girl asked with a frown
"By the way karan, Don't you think,iss baar tumhari choice kuch jyada cheap nhi ho gyi."that girl asked eyening tara from head to toe with disgusting expression on her face
"Aree, don't judge her by her looks, you know what she did, just now!"karan bit her and said
Tara finding difficult to be there, Matlab kaise, she's insulting her on her face, like literally.. and khudko dekha hai kbhi, imagination ke liye kuch chupakerakhti,aise lag rha hai jaise galati se choti behen ka dress pehenke aayi ho, and face ki to baat hi kya,red lipstick for a college aise lag rha hai jaise kisika khoon peeke aayi ho abhi abhi,her mind cursing that girl..
"Karan, actually I have something important better than this introduction, so see you tomorrow."she stood for leaving not paying attention to the other person
"Yeah, fine and take care around that guy."he said hugging tara
"Sure,."she said and leave
First day of college and so much just happened.. but she finds this karan boy little nice, like he helped her for admission, like seriously ek stranger hoke,he looks kind hearted
But that second boy ruined my mood with his emotionless face.. I just expect some drama there, at least a little verbal war,jaise movies me dikhate hai.. but kuch hua hi nhi.. Matlab kya, I slapped him in front of whole college and what he did just stood and stare... Matlab kuch fark pada yaa nhi pada mere thappad se, uparse kaise ghure jaa rha tha,man kr rha tha do chaar aur lga du,, ghatiya insan
And that bitch,,haaye kya kehna uska.. I'm so much sure I can't bare her for next 3 years.. but I need to answer her, but how.. kuch sochna pdega tara..
Her chain of thoughts broke when someone back hugged her while she shrugged those hands that instant
"Viraj nhi."she shouted
"Oyyee, viraj kahase aaya?"mona hit her shoulder to wake up her from her lala land
"Tuuuu?, lecture khatam?"tara said embarrassingly staring at floor to hide her face
"Haa wo to ho gya khatam, but itna kya soch rhi thi viraj ke baareme."mona asked playfully giving teasing look to her best friend
"Me kyu sochungi uske baareme."tara fumbled with words greeting her teeth
"Wo to tujhe hi pata, but tu miss kr rhi thi usse."mona teased walking beside her
"And who said that?"tara asked innocently flashing so innocent face of her
"Tu sachme dumb hai,yaa dumb hone ki acting krti hai?"mona hit her shoulder playfully greeting her teeth
"Chl chodna,hum itna kyu discuss kr rhe hai uss idiot ke baareme."she tried to divert the topic pulling her to nearest bench
"Lecture kaisa tha pehla,kya hua introduction ke alawa?"tara bit Mona's next word knowing her next topic very well
Mona tried to answer but Tara's phone beeped with flashing name idiot
"Dekh tera heart to heart connection."mona laughed and pinched Tara's nose
"Whatever."she managed to reply with a little scoff
"By the way,usne to teri help hi kii hai, you should talk to him nicely."mona said
"Itna bhi kya attitude tara,sochle,agar usse sameera pasand aa gyi naa,in that way,tarsegi iss call ke liye."mona warned while tara sat there unaffected by her words staring at the grass under her feets
"Tu naa viraj ko bhul jaa monaaaa, because I'm sure there's something between him and sameera."tara mocked while mona made a face
"Accha,bhul jaa viraj ko,aur sameera ko bhi,chl mujhe kitna kuch batana hai tujhe."tara asked dragging mona towards the exit
"Aur haa I'm sure you are gonna be so proud about me!"tara show up her all 32 with imaginary collar
