Birthday Mishaps part 2

Luke and Phoebe arrive at Jay and Gloria's

Knock Knock*

'Ay Jay ill get it' Gloria says rushing to the door

Hola mi amours! she says hugging us tightly

'Hiya'

'Hey!' - Luke says

Come in! everyones out in the pool go get changed!

we go upstairs once were changed i accidentally bump into Luke since i'm carrying our towls not looking where i was going. both of us falling to the ground.

'owww' i say in confused

'Are you okay? let me help you up' says Luke grabbing my hand gently

'don't apologies i was the one not looking'

'cmon lets go to the pool' he says holding my hand still

'Alrighty!'

Once we get down Phil comes towards on a hoverboard Claire got him whilst Jay still tries to figure how it works!

'Hey kiddos, me and jay are having a grill off make sure to vote team Phill!' Then suddenly him Mitch and Claire look down at my hands which were being held by Luke.

'Are you not telling us something guys?' says Claire suspiciously.

'oh..umm..no..were' luke stutters

'Oh god no, i didn't even realise, its because we bumped into each other... and umm...i'

'Me and Phoebe are just friends guys' Luke blurts out quickly

'If you insist, Phoebe doesn't have time running around after hungry boys you've got cheerleader tryouts on Monday'  Mitchell brings up.

'CHEERLEADER TRYOUTS Phil shouts in joy, finally now i can welcome you to your chapter of Philosophy!  i've got some old pom moms i can hand down to you, you feel like one of my own' Phil states embracing me into a friendly hug.

'Dad stop your gonna Phoebe of cheerleading if you continue' Luke mentions

'don't worry Luke' , let's go see Lily.

'Phoebe!' Lily says running up to hug me,

'i like your swimsuit.. its very me!' she says hinting

'hmmm well maybe you might  find one in a box! but you must keep it a secret shush'

'okay dokie' she says running off to Stella.

'Phoebs..i need to talk to you' - Luke says quietly

'Hey Phoebe i need your help ASAP' Haley shouts

,Coming' i shout. 'Sorry Luke can it wait, we can talk about later maybe?'

'uhh...yeh..sure..i guess?' Luke says as he walks away from me to Manny 

i run off to haley, sitting on a pool chair, 

What's wrong? i ask

'Now this might come to you by surprise or shock.. but i think i like..Andy!'

'huh' i say calmly

'what do you mean by  'huh' Haley says 

I mean its pretty obvious the both of you like each other! i say smiling mischeviously!

'WHAT, no i'm so subtle' - haley retaliates back

'Look go to Andy tell him trust me even though i'm not a love expert, i know love and chemistry when i see it'.

'Really, now if you knew i think someone, would be with you , Haley says hinting

'What are you talking about? '

'Look you swear not to mention this again, oh what do i care, so basically i snuck in after curfew and Luke's door was open and i saw he stole my laptop so i get it and he starts murmuring your name like five times!'

'What no maybe it was a different Phoebe...' i realise how dumb i just sounded

i look and Haley had gone

suddenly Luke approaches me uh oh!

'Pheo-'

'Sorry i gotta go to the bathroom' i say quickly 

'you went like 20 minuets ago? Luke says confused

'Well..i need it again...okay.' i said frigidly as i run of throwing a cover up on.

as i locked the bathroom door i paced up and down questioning myself 'do i like Luke? No cmon your being silly am i.. well i gues-'

Hey Phoebe you've been in there  for like 10 minuets are you alright? - Luke says

'oh yeh i'm just worried about uhh..cheerleader tryouts?' i say 'convincingly' as i open the door

'Don't stress, i mean the worst thing is that you won't make it but thats not gonna happen, i believe in you'

'hey don't get soppy with me' i say grabbing his cheek gently tugging on it but thanks.

Later on in the evening round about 8pm

The party's coming to an end,

oh lily i forgot something special for you from me and Luke..well more me! as i said that her eyes sparkled.

'here open it', the box was pastel purple with puppies on which kinda clashed but Luke insisted on it.

wow! Lilys eyes beamed it was a miniature version of my bikini she loved

'Thank you Phoebe, and Luke' Lily says hugging the both of us as me and Luke look at each other softly. 

'No problem! we say smiling 

Lily rushes of to our dads showing it off to them.

'Phoebe-' Luke tries to say whilst being butt in by Phil

'Hey Phoebe, tomorrow i'm gonna train you for you cheerleader tryouts and i have a special gift for you!' Phil says excitingly

'ah okay, ill come over around 10am'

'Phoebe! were leaving, say goodbye to everyone' says Mitch

'what did you need to tell me Luke?' i say in a hurry

'ohh..um..it was...your sunglasses..you left them in my bag today' Luke says handing them to me 

Oh right thanks, ill see you tomorrow i say as i hug him,

'Bye Phoebe' he says putting on a smile for me

Luke sits on the couch talking to the camera*

*Is it too obvious that i like her? Is this the universes way of telling me not to admit to her?*
