Chapter 3

Your POV
I woke up, having seen the others beat up. I shook my head, getting up.

"She's awake.."
I heard Mackenzie say.
Sure enough it was coldly said, but than I got up, dusting my dress off and floating over to her.

I smacked her in the back of the head, then making a portal.

"What was that for?"

She growled. She stood up about to smack me just the I just jumped over her, which caused her to slap my foot and I face planted.

"Ow- Why?!"
I got up, starring her down.

"I'm sorry- I-"
"Wow Mackenzie.." Rachel said
"That's cold." Maya said
"Why would you even do that?" Clara said.

"Well never trust you again!" They all said in unison.
"Come on girls. Let's ditch her." I said.

"No.. STOP!"
She yelled out of nowhere. She looked as if she saw a ghost..

"Wai- wha- it must've been fake.."
She seemed to mumble.

"We need to get moving.."
I said, making a portal.
The others gasped at this, and nodded.

"A dark heart beat.." (P/n) mumbled.

"Wha- GUH-"
Bat wings popped from behind my ears. Again, they gasped.

"Screw the portal! Hold on!"
They grabbed my hands, after nodding.

I snapped and we were at Johnny's shop.

They let go, a bit surprised. I tucked my bat wings in as I detransformed.

A few hours later

"So.. your a Mercenare but.. Un-Evil?" Rachel And Maya asked.

"Yea.. turns out when I, Mika, and Kiki defeated Lord Markona.. he managed to erase our memories. So as of now, I'm the only surviving warrior of Nimikana.. we all three used to be mercenares. But we decided to have another track.. we didn't like seeing destruction and sort."

"Wow.." Maya mumbled
"So what happened to your friends?"
Clara asked, handing me tea as I sat.

"Well.. so far I'm the only one who remembers my past. The rest are around here somewhere."

"So if I'm getting this straight, you could like.. go anywhere?"

I nodded. "That's why I know how it make destains."

"Wow. Seems like you got a new teammate?" A boy said. He turned out to be Johnny.

I started to panic a bit before I passed out.

"AH!"

I sat up quickly, seeing Maya in my face.

"Ah! You're awake. We got worried about you.."

I shook my head, getting off the couch and running out the door.

"(Y/n)?!" Rachel yelled after me.

I ran faster though.

"(Y/n)! Slow down- I have a headache now!!"
(P/n) yelled.

I saw a tree and hid behind it.

"..I think and thought someone was watching me-"

"You were right.."
A voice murmured and I quickly transformed.

"Ira.."

"You got that right. King Mercenare wants to talk to you.."

"..why?"
He grabbed my hand, putting something on my finger.

"Oh.. he just wants a chat."

I realized he was gripping my wrist, and in a attempt to fly away, I failed.
He laughed a bit.

"Lets Go now, shall we?"
He lifted his other hand, about to snap.

"..I- wha-"
I gasped, realizing. I than inhaled quickly.

"HELP-"

He covered my mouth gripping my head and mouth a bit.
Being the little she-devil I was, I bit the hand.

His other hand let go of my wrist, and I started running like someone was trying to murder me.

"Wh- Y/N! COME BACK!"

I only ran faster, but then tripped.

"aH!" I fell, and  he grabbed my wrist.

We than teleported.
