"You fought well, brother. Who knew you had it in you?" A wicked voice said. Ronan slowly got up from the bed and seen he was in complete darkness. He seen a tall man staring at him. Salt and pepper hair and hands behind his back.

"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are." Ronan stated. The man chuckled.

"But you do know who I am, Alistair." the man said with venom. Ronan's eyes widen. Ronan instantly went to fight mode and lunged at the man. He dodged and Ronan caught himself before falling to the ground. Talons instantly out and white flames covering his arms.

"Why must you fight me when you're weak, brother?" The man said, chuckling.

"Why do insist on testing me?!" Ronan yelled. The man came over and petted Ronan's cheek.

"My sweet child. You will be a mere annoyance for my plan. I will have your head, just like him." Vince mocked. Ronan snarled at Vince and gripped his hand, burning it with the white flames. Vince cried out and pulled back, black flames forming out of his talons.

"Don't fuck with me. You will meet your end, Vince. You will pay for all that you have done. Your head will be mine. That I promise!" Ronan yelled, clawing at Vince's face with his flamed talons. Vince cried out in pain.

Ronan slowly woke up from the dream. He smiled slightly and heard argueing.

"His wounds are severe! He needs rest, no visitors." Ronnie yelled.

"You have no right to control who he sees and who visits!" a familiar voice said. Ronan squinted his eyes, trying to remember the voice.

"I am his medic! I know what is good for his body and mind, not some lowly vampire! Now go! He needs rest." Ronnie yelled again.

"He's trying to protect you, Ronan." a voice snapping Ronan out of the argument said. He turned to see Eric sitting beside him. Ronan smiled at the boy.

"He is a good medic. He will be good with the others. He is our only human one." Ronan pointed out.

"And I'm the only human 3rd command. The army you are leading will be enormous once we join The Resistance." Eric stated. Ronan hummed in agreement.

"I don't know why they want me as the leader. There is other people worthy of the position." Eric shook his head.

"I disagree. Felix is an alpha and he doesn't command like you. You are like no other, Ronan. I'm glad we have you as our leader. It might make more sense as Lieutenant Martin." Eric said with a smile. Ronan slowly rose up from the bed and seen the damage done to his body. His entire body was wrapped in bandages.

"You do need rest. Ronnie is right about that." Eric stated, getting up from his seat. He started to walk to the door, about to leave.

"Hey, Eric?" Ronan said. Eric turned to look at his lieutenant. "Take care of Felix. He deserves you." He told the boy.  Eric blushed slightly and gave his a confused look.

"What are you talking about?" Eric said stammering. Ronan chuckled.

"I've known longer than the both of you. You've forgotten I can see the future." Eric blushed  and cleared his throat.

"I will, sir." He replied, leaving the room. Ronan closed his eyes. Ronnie came in sighing, closing the door.

"Man, you and Jen really went at it.. I knew supernaturals where powerful, but it doesn't seem like you should be that powerful." Ronnie pointed out.

"We have demons within us, Ronnie. We're not really human, you know?" Ronan said, slightly annoyed. Ronnie waved his hand at the boy.

"I know boy. Chill. I want to also inform you Malcom said we were leaving in a month. We got to get everyone over there slowly, since there is so many of us." He informed. Ronan nodded his head.
