I lace up my shoes as I sit in the quinjet. "Are you sure you can handle boots? I mean you could trip and-" steve says before I cut him off. "I trained my whole life in a pair of black heels in the underworld where I could possibly fall in lava or slip. This isn't bad compared to that" I say as I finished tying my other boot. "Okay, I was just checking though. I don't want you to get hurt" steve says. "Don't worry grandpa I'll be fine" I say with a little smile on my face as I stand up infront of him.
"I can't believe you said that" steve says as he looks up at me. "What are you going to do about it?" I ask as I cross my arms but still have a big grin on my face. He stands up which makes him be taller than me even when I'm in these heel boots. He stared at me his eyes were dark and right when he was about to say something Clint had to interrupt us.
"Cap! We arrived" clint says as he stands to walk over to us. "Okay get everything prepared we want to be as stealthy as possible so we can get the scepter" steve says in his usual captain voice. I sigh as I thought of all the possibilities steve could've done. Steve walks away.
I walk out of the quinjet as my hair flows in the wind but not much as I had cut my hair to more of a bob with side bangs and had more of a wavy vibe. I stare at the surroundings. Well the plan didn't work. "Um, cap I think the stealth plan didn't work" I say over in my earpiece as I see many hydra soldiers protecting their base. "We'll have to do something diffrent possibly Tony's most used idea ATTACK" I say to steve in the earpiece as i walk through the woods. "Do you think you can possibly stop some?" Steve asks referring to my plant growing powers.
"Possibly that could work somehow" I say over the earpiece as I walk over to a tree and press my hand up against it. I close my eyes as i feel something growing. something sharp. I open my eyes as I see thorns on branches. I widen my eyes. "Um, mel? How are you doing that?" Natasha asks as she comes up from behind me. The thorn branches come after me. What is happening. I run as the thorn branch gets a hold of me and wraps it self around my ankle. I scream. Natasha grabs her knife and cuts the thorn branch off of me. The branches go back to normal. I hiss in pain.
"Guys I gotta get mel in the quinjet then I'll be back on the field" natasha says in the earpiece. Natasha helps me stand up as she has me wrap an arm over her shoulders. "I don't understand. I thought I was just creating regular branches-" I say before natasha speaks up. "Mel I'm pretty sure you don't understand these powers like your other ones so please just understand that you accidentally did this" natasha says. I sigh as she helps me sit down on one of the quinjets seats. "We'll all be back soon, try to fix that up" natasha says. "Okay." I say. She leaves as I look down the wounds were gone. No mark was left. "Guys I'm fine" I say in the earpiece. "No you are not, you were bleeding!" Steve says over the earpiece.
"Not anymore, I'm going to help" I say in the earpiece as I walk off the quinjet. "Mel!" Steve shouted over the earpiece. I chuckle. "Report to your stations immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack. We are under attack." I hear the speakers say. I smirk. "See you need me" I say as I walk through the woods. "Fine" steve says. "Shit!" Tony shouts. "Language! JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve says. "Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." Thor says. "At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Natasha says. "Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." clint says. "Wait- did cap say language?" I ask confused as I throw a hydra soldier against a tree which knocked him out. "I know" steve says. "It just slipped out" steve says finishing his sentence.
"Clint!" I hear natasha shout over the earpiece. "What's happening?" I ask. "We have enhanced in the field, be careful mel" steve says. I look over around me knowing someone is around. I slip as someone who was quite fast tripped me. I groan as I use my telekinesis to catch him as I stand back up. "Who are you?" I ask. "I'm a no one" the boy says as he looks behind me. I turn around as I see a young woman. They're sokovian.
Red smoke was surrounding me as I wave my arms to get it away from me. "I saw both of them" I say as I walk through the smoke. "Are you okay?" Steve asks. "I'm okay theres just alot of this red smoke around" I say. I stop as I see the red smoke clear as i see woods. Different types of woods. "What the hell?" I ask myself. I walk around. I see a dark figure behind a tree. "Hello?" I ask the figure. The figure turns around and holds its bow and arrow at me. "Hey buddy! I didn't do anything! Who are you?" I shout. "Camila! Are you okay?" I hear steve shout in the earpiece.
The figure shoots his arrow it goes pass me everything slowed downed in my mind. I turned around quickly to see what the figure shot. I see steve with an arrow through him. Bleeding. I fall to my knees seeing steve laying on the ground bleeding out. I crawl towards him sobbing at what I saw. "I love yo-" everything disappeared before I could hear the rest from steve. He said he loved me. "Camila? Are you okay?" Steve ask as he jogs over me.
"You're okay? Oh thank the gods!" I shout as I hug steve tightly. "What happened?" Steve asked holding on to me tightly. "The sokovian girl she caused my nightmare to become real" I said as I let go of steve and wipe my eyes up with my hand. Which had tons of mascara all over it.
"What was it about?" Steve asked. I sigh. I couldn't tell him. He would think I was crazy. But, I will tell bruce to let him know to see what he thinks about this situation. For now I'll just leave it as a secret. "To personal" I say as we both start walking to the quinjet. "So did we get the scepter?" I ask. "Yeah, Tony has it" steve says as we walk inside the quinjet. "That's good" I say as I sit down in the quinjet as steve sits next to me.
