Meeting The One

Chapter 2: Lunch Break

Andre's POV

All through, I was thinking about the guy Nick and couldn't pay attention. This is not like me I swear, just that I couldn't get him off my head. Suddenly the bell rang and the class was over, it was break time.

"Hey you wanna go grab food?" Isabella asked as she stood up. I agreed and we went on to the cafeteria. It took us sometime before we actually got to the cafeteria because we were still learning our way around.

We went and bought food and drinks and was going back to our class to eat it because there was to much noise in the cafeteria. Suddenly we heard someone yelling Isabella, we turned and it was a woman who she called her mom. She went and gave her a hug, she introduced me to her and vice versa, she said she and Isabella needed to see one of the teachers for something so they left.

I was on my way to my class when I saw Nick, the senior I couldn't get off my head during class. He waved towards me but I turned to see if it was someone else but no one was behind me so I waved back smiling like a fool.

"Control yourself Andre" I yelled in my head.

He began to walk towards me, I didn't know what to do, was I to keep walking or wait for him. I was still deciding when he got to me.

"Hi!" He said with a smile. He has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen, I said hi back and we started walking. He asked my some questions about my former school and why I decided to change school and vice versa.

I told him everything and this is not normal for me, I am not usually this free with people much less people who I just met but there was something about him that made me feel safe to tell him anything I wanted to tell him.

We found 2 in 1 seat and decided to stay there, we kept talking and laughing. One would think we had known ourselves since childhood.

"So, you seeing anyone" he asked, I froze for a moment but I said no and asked him and he also said no. We stared at each other for a while and then smiled,

Is this really happening- I thought to myself, this moment was just perfection. It seemed like we were the only two left in the world, the world froze and nothing else was important.

Nick's POV

He is so beautiful, it hurts, his smile, voice face and body is just perfection. I couldn't believe this moment was really happening. I wanted to kiss him so bad but as much as I wanted to do that, I was also scared that I might be misreading this moment so I didn't.

In just a little time, we knew a lot about each other. His fave color is red, fave car brand is porshe and fave subject maths.

I wish we could talk more so I asked him to hang out with me.

"Would you like to hang out after school one of these days" I was so scared that he would say no but he said yes.

"It's a date" I said, I immediately realized what I said and started mumbling. "Not a date date, just a hang out, not like we're going on a date" I was self destructing till he said it was fine and he understood what I meant. I let out the breath I didn't even know I was keeping and smiled.

The bell rang which signalled the end of the break, so we said our goodbyes and he went to his class, as he walked away, I couldn't take my eyes off him, I kept looking at him and smiling, he turned back and waved with a smile and I did same. I then went on to my own class.

How was this chapter? Seems like everything is going on smoothly with Andre and Nick but will they be brave enough to confess to each other how they truly feel? We will see.
