L x Demon!OC (Part 1)

Authors Note: This is a story that will be divided up into parts, it involves an OC that I had created named Nakara Ravlen, in this she is using an alias. In this chapter, she is being introduced to the Task Force.

Summary: L/Ryuzaki has hired on an unusual employee, Nakara. Given the circumstances in the Kira case, she has used an alias. When the task force meets her, they are surprised to have been met with a young woman. Matsuda, being the questioning one, asks how the two would have known each other. To their surprise L makes a statement of their betrothal.

"Yes, Ryuzaki. I understand what you're asking of me." A soft voice spoke.

"As soon as the task force arrives I want you to remain silent until I say so, what we have discussed here will not leave this room, Ms. Shikoto." Ryuzaki said, his voice monotone. 

Soon, the doors leading into the small hotel room opened. Soichiro Yagami, Matsuda, Aizawa, Mogi, Ide, and Ukita entered quickly taking notice of the newest face in the room. Yagami stood there, fixing his glasses as he started to speak. 

"Ryuzaki, I understand you wanted to see us."

"Yes, I wanted to speak to you all about a new addition to our investigation team. I want you to meet Ms. Akita Shikoto, I have personally added her on as she has proven time and time again with her work as well." Ryuzaki responded, taking a bite out of a strawberry. 

The task force stood there in awe. They carefully examined her as she stood silently, taking note of what she looked like. Akita glanced back at them, fixing her black and white blouse and pants as to remain as sharp as possible in the presence of others. 

Ryuzaki looked over to her, finally speaking up after a long silence filled the room. 

"Ms. Akita, please, introduce yourself to the men here so they can stop staring. It's kinda rude, don't you think?" 

Yagami and the others jolted at the remark, fixing themselves accordingly. They've never had to work with anyone else but L himself as well as the beloved son, Light Yagami and his "fiance" Misa. 

"Yes," Akita finally interrupted. "I am Akita Shikoto, I will be helping you all out during the Kira investigation. I will not tolerate insolence or any ignorance for that matter, this is a serious situation we all have to help resolve. Even if it means we all die trying." Her voice was sharp and stern, with a hint of optimism. 

"I was meaning on what you're known for, Ms. Shikoto-" 

"Ryuzaki, I have a question!" Matsuda interjected, only to be shut down by Yagami. 

"Let her finish, Matsuda. This is serious."

"No, no. Please, Matsuda. What's your question?" L replied, his mouth full of cake as he asked.
