I'm back

Tae POV

        I am sitting here in between all these people yet I feel lonely. The day he left he took my heart with him. Once back in college, my studies were going as usual but when I was free all I could think about was him. That sweet smile he had on his plush lips, the sound of his laugh, the face he made when I teased him, the hugs he gave me and the way he spoke with those dazzling sparkling eyes. I made it my goal to become someone everyone knew. I completed my degree early and gave my bar exam which I passed with flying colours.

       I use to also visit home and stayed in his room rather than mine. His room had his pictures which helped me keeping my sanity. I started working with my dad later and took over his company. My first case was a win for me which made quite a name for me as it was a complicated one. No one can say I am here because of someone's favour. I have proved myself to everyone which wasn't my motive. The one person who I did that for was studying and was getting famous on his own. Yes my baby won tons of competition. He is known as the youngest and fastest piano artist.

     Mom and Dad do talk about him but no one tells me when he will return. I have kept on sending him gifts on his wins, birthdays and anniversaries. In return I did get gifts for my birthday and I have treasured them. He has gifted me a watch, shoes, a tailored suit and a pendant which by the way all of them were very expensive. I still wear the bracelet he left me with. The pendant is also always around my neck under my shirt.

    Back to this interview, oh did I forget to tell you I constantly appear on TV shows for justice advices and related topics. Currently I am being asked my opinion on the new bill passed. When I have answered to their content only a last question is taken from the audience

'Mr Tae, I think I speak on behalf of most people. Are you dating anyone?'

      I just look around and notice everyone is keen on my answer.

'Yes' I reply

'But we haven't seen you with anyone!'

'Because the person is currently studying and out of country.'

'Thank you for your time sir and hope you have a great day.' The emcee finished.

  I bowed to everyone and left the studio. To this day I have kept my personal life a secret. I don't like indulging my personal affairs with that of my business. I went straight to my office as I had an important client waiting for me there. I reached my office building and got out and gave the car to the valet. On entering my office I notice Park talking to Miss Anderson. She notices me and smiles my way.

'Good evening Mr Kreepolrerk'

'Good evening to you too Miss Anderson. I hope you are doing well.'

'Yes I am' she said not meeting my eyes.

     I looked at Park and gestured him to leave us alone. Once he was gone I got up and made her a cup of tea and sat next to her. I gave her the tea and looked at her. I could see the marks on her body and neck as well.

'I am hoping you changed your decision Miss Anderson.'

'Yes I did'

'Did he hurt you?'

'Yes' she said in a whisper and had tears brimming in her eyes.

'Are you okay?'

'I am okay but my daughter she got caught in between while saving me and got hurt that made me change my decision.'

'I am sorry to hear that. You don't have to worry about anything. I will see to it he rots in prison and will also give compensation. Also to be on the safe side we will get a restraining order.' I said firmly

She turned to me and smiled, 'Thanks Mr Kreepolrerk. I know you don't take such cases. Thanks alot. If it wasn't for you I and my daughter would have no one.'

'Don't be so modest ma'am. You have worked for us. If you would like, you can tell your daughter to apply here to work. I will talk to Lam if you would like.'

'That would be great. Thanks alot. I will take a leave now.' She said getting up.

'Yes be safe Miss Anderson. And I will give you a call when the case is filed and the date is set. And don't worry Lam has taken care of your husband. He is currently in custody. Go home with relief.'

'Thank you so much Mr Kreepolrerk.'

      She left and I started arranging the documents. I told my PA to get the papers ready for the Anderson case. My PA is a sweet elder lady. You ask me why- the reason being my baby boy. I didn't want him to be jealous and have any misunderstanding so I hired someone who is elder and aged. It was also helpful because she was a good advisor. Lam and Park both told me to leave to which I replied later.

'Tae you should go home it's late.' Lam said poking his head through the open door.

'You two can leave first. I want the papers ready. Linda has sorted them out already. I will go once I am done.'

'Okay Tae be safe. Lam and I are going on a date.'

'When don't you!'

'I heard that.' Park said

'I said it so you can hear.' I chuckled earning a loud fuck you from Lam. Once they left I got back to my work. I did not even notice the time until my phone rang. Without checking who I picked up,

'Hello Mr Kreepolrerk speaking'

'Hello may I speak to my son!'

'Maeee!' (mom) I whined.

'Son when are you coming home?'

'I am just gonna leave.'

'You are still at work. Tae Kreepolrerk you better reach here soon. I had already informed you today I am having guests but you still are late!'

'Mom please stop nagging. I'll be there soon.'

'Don't drive fast Tae'

'Yes mom.'

'Bye sweetie'

'Bye mom'

      I hung up and started packing up. I switched off the lights and wished the security and got in my car. Yes I started using my car as the bike didn't give a look to my position according to dad. I reached home and got in my room. I took a shower and got dressed casually before strolling towards the dining room. I heard some voices from dads office so I decided to go to the back yard. I looked at the stars and it was just beautiful.

'I miss you Tee baby.' I whispered to the sky hoping it would take my message to my beloved.

    Then I had arms wrap around my waist and a soft kiss on my back. I was stupefied first but the feeling of familiarity hit me so hard I had tears.

'I missed you too P'

    Those words and voice belong to my baby. I turned and saw him in black short jeans and a tshirt. I forgot all the worries and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me as well. I still couldn't believe it.

'Are you really here or am I hallucinating Tee?'

He stood om his tiptoes and kissed my cheek.

'I am really here P!'

I hugged him again. That's when I heard him say

'I am back P'
