22 - Unexpected

"Yeonjunnie..."Hongjoon softly whispered, looking at his fading arms.

Yeonjun looked at Hongjoon with a sad expression. He saw Hongjoon's face start to fade to Taehyung's face and tears streamed down his cheeks. 

"It's time, huh?"

Hongjoon gave him a small and weak smile. He wrapped his arms around Yeonjun and muttered "i love you" like it was the only word he could say.Both of them couldn't hold back their tears as Hongjoon fades away. They shared one last kiss, concealing their promise to be happy even without each other. As Hongjoon entirely fades away, a different touch greeted Yeonjun. A different pair of lips was there, on his lips, where Hongjoon's soft ones were.

"Oh. OH."Taehyung scooted back, covering his mouth and blushing so hard. He was so confused about what had happened. What was he doing up here with a vampire? Why is he alone? Where is Jimin? WHY WAS HE KISSING HIM???

"OH MY YELLOW FAIRY WHAT THE SCALLOPS?!"Taehyung yelled. Yeonjun instantly turned irritated when he heard Taehyung's yell. He glared at him, spelling him to fall asleep. Taehyung closed his eyes and his head fell to Yeonjun's laps. 

Yeonjun flinched and was tempted to push him off. He can die for all Yeonjun cared, he's not Hongjoon now.

Yeonjun sighed.

But Hongjoon is still his past life.

With that thought, he let the mermaid sleep on his lap. As long as he doesn't look at him, he would be fine. So he closed his eyes. Out of a sudden, he stroked his head, a habit he earned when Hongjoon used to lay his head on his lap. His eye widened when he realized how good it felt. It was like, he was stroking Hongjoon. 

After a few moments, he slowly looked down and saw how peaceful he looked, sleeping.

This isn't so bad... NO. WHAT? NO NO NO.

Yeonjun shook his head, retracting his hands and breathing rapidly.

"YAH! CHOI YEONJUN!"

Yeonjun turned around to look at Soobin who called out to him. Soobin looked shocked, horrified even. Soobin told him that something happened, downstairs, back at the dungeons and asked him to hurry. Yeonjun carried Taehyung and flew down to the dungeons with Soobin. As soon as he arrived and saw what was in the cell, his eyes went wide.

Jimin was crying and shaking. He had blood all over his face, especially on his lips. He stared at Yeonjun, asking him for Taehyung.

"I didn't mean to... He was... I don't know what I did... HELP ME!!"

Yeonjun locked Taehyung in a cell away from Jimin. Jimin watched in sorrow as Yeonjun explained that he can't stay in the same cell as him after what he did. Jimin cried and curled up into a ball. He hated it here. Why did he come here?

"What should we do about his body? Master Min would be pissed to see a dead wizard in his dungeon." Soobin asked, worried about what the prince would say. Namjoon's blood was everywhere in the cell. His guts was out and the smell was tempting for the both of them.

"We get rid of him. Avoid drinking his blood." Yeonjun said. Soobin nodded and helped him to get rid of the wizard's body. 

"Who was he?"

Soobin gulped. He looked at Yeonjun with hesitation. Yeonjun frowned and told Soobin to cut to the chase.

"He was one of us... A vampire... One that we both knew..The vampire that was violent... and hateful..."

Yeonjun cursed.

"Taehyun."

"Hunt down pixies and bite heads off, this ones mine so please fuck off.."

The werewolf walked alongside the walls, singing a childhood song he grew up with. He was doing a great job so far, making sure no magical creatures get through. Out of a sudden, he heard two familiar voices in the night. He stopped singing and listened carefully.

"I need you to get more creatures. We're going to war with the Dark Creatures."

The werewolf covered his mouth, shocked. He can't believe that he just heard that the Magical Creatures are going to war with them, from the mouth of the Wizard Tribe Leader himself.

"WAR?! ARE YOU CRAZY??" he heard the Hybrid Tribe Leader said. "They are too strong! We will die!"

"I have a plan, and I assure you , that it will not fail."

"What plan?"

The werewolf's ears twitched as he placed them near the wall to listen better. His eyes widened when he received the information. He rushed to the castle as fast as he can. He howled to tell his tribe about the news, every creature that heard it started to get angry, upset. 

Chaos.

That was the word to describe that night when various of Dark Creatures came to the Vampire Castle, being upset about the news. Yoongi tried to stay calm but he snapped when he lost patience.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" he growled.

The Great Hall turned silent. Everyone looked at the stressed vampire prince trying to process this situation. What did the Magical Creature want from this war? They would definitely die and Yoongi was sure they know that. So why?

"What... Why is this happening?" Jungkook asked. The other two hybrid only shook their heads, not knowing what to answer. 

The door suddenly opens and the werewolf ran in.

"YOUR HIGHNESS!!"

He breathlessly called out. Everyone only watched as he ran closer to the vampire prince. He gulped, when he saw the scary expression on Yoongi's face.

"Permission to speak, your highness, for I have information about the war."

Yoongi glared at him.

"Spill."

"I heard the Wizard Tribe Leader speak of his plan to overthrow us." The werewolf looked at the three hybrids standing next to the throne with hatred. He pointed at them. What he said next, made everyone became even more angry.

"One of them is a spy."
