10 - Feelings

Jimin sighed as he waited for Namjoon to let him out of the box. He had tried to run off to Dark Forest himself and of course as a precaution, Namjoon locked him up in a small box. At least he got to breathe and put his head out of the box.

As he was rethinking his life decisions, flurries of snow started to fall on his head and he instantly looked up. It was snowing.

"Well, guess we need to wait for about two more hours and—"

"Namjoon!"

Hearing that voice made Namjoon's eyes went wide. He bit his lower lip and closed his eyes, regret immediately shows up on his face. He turns around to face the person that had called him.

"Hey... friend..." he greeted.

It was a fairy, with a pair of big, beautiful red and orange butterfly wings. His hair was a fiery red, just like Taehyung's hair before he ate the Tuttie Fruitie Berrie. He had beautiful eyes and a beautiful heart shaped smile. He was wearing the Wizarding School uniform, the school Namjoon went as well.

Taehyung looked at him with a disgusted look. He has been friends with so many people to know what that friend Namjoon greeted was about.

"Why.. are you here?" The redhead asked. Namjoon bit the insides of his cheeks and avoided eye contact with him. The redhead didn't wait long until he saw Jimin. He stared at him for a long time while having an unpleasant expression on his face.

"What are you doing with the merman prince? Did you lock him in a prison box? What is wrong with you?" He asked as he rushed over to help Jimin out.

"Thank you."

"Namjoon we've got a class in an hour or so what are you doing here?" The fairy asked. Namjoon gave him an eye roll in which he didn't notice. Taehyung could already guess what their relationship is.

Hoseok must be a son of Namjoon's parents' friend and Namjoon was forced to be his friend while Hoseok is okay with being friends with Namjoon. Namjoon's actions can't be denied that he hates him but of course, as clichè as it is, Hoseok never noticed or knew about it.

"Listen, butterfly. I, have been summoned by the prince to be his guide to go into the Dark Forest as my..." Namjoon was at lost of words for a good second before screaming his answer. "...assignment!"

Hoseok furrowed his brows at the answer and looked at Namjoon, guessing if he was joking or not. Then after seeing Namjoon's face being awkward, he laughed.

Jimin and Taehyung looked at each other before looking at Namjoon who was packing up their stuff to get into the Dark Forest. Namjoon told them to ignore him and get ready to go into the forest.

"Nice try you little wizard. Now come on–"

"Hoseok I mean this. These royals are paying me to bring them into the forest to find their friend, and I'll get paid for that. So, if you don't want to join us, shoo."

"Namjoon that's the Dark Forest! Are you out of your mind?!"

Namjoon sighed and nodded, saying that he did. Hoseok couldn't believe that his best friend is actually doing this. He needed to stop him before this backfires! Hoseok tried to persuade him to stay one last time and of course, it didn't work.

"Listen. I know well enough that my parents need money to pay for my studies in that wizarding school. This is one opportunity to get more money and help my parents–"

"By risking your life and the royals'? Namjoon come on, you know you can count on me–"

Namjoon pushed Hoseok to the side, not letting him finish his words. He glared at the fairy and gritted his teeth. Jimin gasped in horror as he saw that the fairy was hurt when he accidentally scraped his palm on the ground. He immediately went over to his aid and looked at Namjoon to achieve sympathy. However, Namjoon wasn't giving in anymore.
