Stephen Strange

Chloe's POV a few days later

I was up and about, I changed Lunas diaper, made sure she ate, Ive spend some time with my mates. But it felt like they were keeping something from me and I wonder what it was.

As I was changing Lunas diaper I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I smiled and leaned into Tony's arms. It felt so good to be back in his arms. I felt him kiss my neck. "Hey baby girl", he whispered against my neck. I smiled and turned around and pecked his lips. "Hey tones", I said wrapping my arms around his neck. I played with the hairs on the back of his neck. He had a big smile on his lips. He gripped me tightly. He took one hand away from my waist and cupped my cheek. I could see the tears welling up in his eyes. I could see how much it affected them with me being gone. I hated to see them like this. Knowing it was my fault. I cupped his stubbled cheek. "I'm right here tones, I'm not going anywhere, I'm right here with you", I said softly and soothingly. He just kept on smiling though. I saw a tear roll down his cheek. I wiped it with my thumb. "I know baby girl, I know, but I thought I would never see you again, you have no idea how much I missed you", he said as he ran his fingers up and down my cheeks. I can see more tears roll down his cheeks and it made my heart throb in pain. I hated to see him cry. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. I could feel a few run down my own cheeks. "I'm here baby, I'm here now, I'm not going anywhere", I said as I pressed my forehead to his. He closed his eyes. "Open your eyes baby, I'm right here", I said softly caressing his cheek. He sucked in a breath. He the finally opened his eyes. "I keep thinking I'm going to open my eyes and you'll still be dead, if this is a dream then I never want to wake up", he whispered. I laughed a bit. "Your not dreaming tones, I'm right here, I'm here with you and I'm not going anywhere", I said kissing his nose. He smiled weakly. "I love you", he whispered. I smiled lovingly at him. "And I love you baby", I whispered back to him. He smiled and pressed his lips to my forehead. He then sighed. He held me tighter for a minute. It was a long minute. But it felt nice.

"There's someone that's been waiting to meet you", he said. I pulled back and raised a eyebrow. "Who?", I asked him curiously. He looked nervous. "Just take my word for it baby girl", he said. I nodded slowly. I picked up Luna and put her on my hip. She started to play with my hair, I smiled at my beautiful daughter.
I grabbed Tony's stretched out hand. We both left the room and into the hallway. We made our way down the hall to another room. We entered the room, no one was in there. No one that I noticed. I looked at tony, I raised a eyebrow. "Just give him a chance", he said kissing the top of my head before grabbing Luna from my arms.

He smiled at me before leaving. I turned and looked around the room. I didn't see anyone. What are they doing? Are they pranking me? But as soon as I thought that, the door opened and a man walked in. The same man from last time. From the mission. I raised a eyebrow. "Who are you?", I asked him. He looked shocked to see me. He walked closer to me, but not close enough to touch me. "My name is Stephen strange, I was the one to take you to the hospital the night you were shot, but I wasn't fast enough, I lost you before I even got to meet you", he said as he looked at his hands. I was shocked. The name on my ankle shocked me, it ran up my leg and made my body feel all weird.

"Your Stephen strange?", I asked him. He nodded his head. "I won't mind if you reject me, you have plenty of people who love you, a beautiful daughter to take care of, you don't need me barging into your life", he said as he continued to look at the ground. I smiled and shook my head. Why do they always do that? I walked over to him and placed my hands on his arms. He looked up at me confused. I smiled at him. "Do you know how long I've waited for you? Just because I have other soulmates does not mean I will leave you in the dust, I've waited a long time for you Stephen, and as long as you'll take me, I won't leave your side, and it's nice to meet you Stephen, I'm Chloe, but a lot of people call me Annie or Sue", I said, I brought my hand up to his cheek and felt him lean into my hand. I felt stubble on my hand and I giggled. I then brought him into a hug. He was a lot taller then me. But he was warm. He smelt good. He smelt like a bakery. He smelt like fresh bread and pastries. I leaned my head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat. I smiled. I wrapped my arms around his waist. I could feel that he hesitated before wrapping his arms around me. I could feel him rest his chin on my head.

"I thought I would never be able to hold you, I thought I would never be able to meet you, the day I found you I thought I would never be able to meet you, the day you died I felt something break inside me, even though I never met you seeing you like that broke me, but being able to hold you like this makes up for it", he whispered. I closed my eyes and pressed my cheek to his chest. "I'm here now, I'm here now because of you, if you never found me, I would have been good as dead, I'm here because of you, thank you", I said to him.

"I should have been faster, I should have gotten you to the hospital quicker, if I had you would have been with your family", he said, I could hear his voice crack from talking. I pulled away. I gave him a stern look. "Bend down", I said sternly. He bent down to my height. I cupped his cheeks with my hands. "You saved me Stephen, no matter what people say, I would have bled out that night If you hadn't, you saved me, you let my family say goodbye, you let my daughter say goodbye, but here I am, because of you, I'm here because of you Stephen and don't think any different, I'm here now and I'm not leaving, I'm right here", I said pressing my lips to his forehead. I saw a few tears roll down his cheeks. I smiled and wiped his tears. He then wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. I was literally in the air. I giggled. I wrapped my arms around him. "I'm so glad to finally have you in my arms", he whispered into my ear. I smiled again and hugged him tighter.

I felt him sit down and he set me down on his lap. I rested my head back on his chest. I felt safe with this man. He wrapped his arms safely around me. "Now that i have you, I won't leave your side", he whispered to me. I smiled lovingly. "You'll never have to", I whispered back. He nuzzled against my neck. I just let myself go limp. His hands ran up and down my back. I smiled softly.

I was safe.
