chapter 9
Lucy's pov
I feel like I'm floating and I have been for days. Am I dead? No I must be dreaming. I slowly open my eyes and all the pain I felt came back to me physically and mentally. I wonder where I am, and who's bed I'm in but when my eye sight focuses I see Sebastian.
I have never been more glad to see someone in my life, tears start pouring out of my eyes not just because I'm happy to see him but because of what happened.
He hops into the bed next to me and hugs me. I cry while hugging his chest. How did he find me, no it doesn't matter I'm just glad he did. "Thank you for helping me Sebastian" I cry out. "It's ok, don't cry it's going to be ok, I have one a few questions though"
I look up to him and into his eyes, I have never seen eyes that caring. "I guess I at least owe you some answers" I sadly laugh. "Who hurt you?" he asks first. "M-my dad" I answer.
He looks at me sadly. "What happened before I found you?" He asks. "After you dropped me off I got back and he was drunk and asleep" I take a deep breath in, trying not to cry more.
"When he woke up he was really mad at me, he dragged me out of my room and started beating me" tears starts to spill again. "You don't have to continue if you don't want to" he says
"No it's ok, anyway he burned and cut me and I don't know what happened after I blacked out but he must of not wanted blood on his floor and dragged me outside and left me there for days until you found me" I quickly say starting to have a panic attack.
He hugs me tightly while I cry again. "Your never going back there, I'll protect you, you can't stay here" he says while calming me down. "I don't want to be a burden, plus what will your mum say" I ask. "I'll explain it to her, it's will be ok" he says. We sit there for awhile hugging and him cradling me.
"C'mon let's go eat, I made us dinner" he says while holding my hand. "Ok and thank you again" I say with a small smile on my face.
