little things are
the most brittle things
fragile as a glass
agile from the start
broken hearts
stolen love
left on the road
cold all alone
batter of cake
splattered to gray
in the deepest part
our heart held fast
not willing to let go
but you know you can't cope
dancing to the long lost rhythm
fancy, but you can't just beat it
hoping it will stay
mopping by the bay
holding on to the last string
folding down the pats things
MEANING
little things simply talks about all the things we keep close but are far from us. little things always start well and we believe they will last but they end up leaving implanting a deep hole in our hearts and sucking out all our humanity.
