FAR FROM HOME

All alone

In a place unknown

Driving past winds

Striving to retrieve

Far from home

You carve the stone

Of your broken faith

Of your shattered state

That long lost soul

As black as coal

You Peirce a deep hole

As you strive to be whole

Wishing to be found

but theirs a heavy pound

Depriving the sound

Of your crying heart

Meaning

I wrote far from home when my bestfriend left me, I had a problem and that drove her away. the first standard just implicates how it feels to lose love. The second is talking about the feeling of betrayal. the third part talks about the problem that drove love and the consequence of trying to get it back. The last part just states another problem in love and what stop love from reaching. I know its soppy but I was a lost twelve years old.
