Chapter 13

Ana's POV

It's been two days since the incident and these two days I have been staying with Sierra . Sierra was really happy but I don't know why she is happy .

" Ana , I think he is really interested in you . If you think he is not then think about these past few weeks . You will be able to come to a conclusion . But don't forget , do what you want . " I recalled her words .

" Ana , are you alright ? " Kyle asked me .
" UH - yeh I am perfectly alright . Now the decoration is amazing but what about the food ? " I asked her and she was thinking " He said the food list will be there in 5 minutes . " She said smiling at me.

Yea , currently we are in the terrace of our office and Dave took Xavier out of the city . They will be back at 7 and now it is 3:30 . The sun is actually nice to see .

" Hey , did you invite all his business partners and his parents . " Melissa asked me and I nodded . Yes we are inviting his parents and business partners. The terrace is big so there is no harm in making it a grand party .

" So everyone we are going back now and we will be here at 5:30 because the guest will be here around  6:30 . Thank you everyone . " I made an announcement and everyone cheered .

Melissa dropped me at my apartment. Yes this is my third day living with Sierra . I went to my floor and opened the door to see Sierra waiting patiently for me to come in . " Hey you are back . Can we start to prepare you . I even chose the dress for you . You just have to sit quietly . "

AFTER SOMETIMES.

" Sierra it is already 5 . It is his birthday party not mine so stop it . You should also get ready right . " I said rolling my eyes at her " if I am late that won't be a problem but if you are late there will be a problem so first you . Now it's done go wear your dress . " She said pushing me in my room .

Wow , it was a black gown with chest portion covered with net and sleeveless.
I wore my black wedges and decide to wear jewellery matching with the dress . That's the time when I noticed the ring in my hand . As soon as I see the ring all the thoughts came rushing back to my mind . I pushed all the thoughts out of my head and wore the studs which Sierra gave me  .

It was 5:15 when Melissa arrived .
" Sierra , you are gonna attend the party or else I will murder you with my own hands " I yelled and went out to see Melissa waiting .

The ride back was fun . We talked about so many things . We reached the building and pressed the last floor and we reached the terrace . The arrangements were amazing , the foods were placed in its place and even the cake was ready. Now the only thing left is for him to arrive.

Later on everyone started arriving and we greeted them with pleasure . It was 7 and we all are waiting for him . I heard my mobile Buzz .
LIAM - we are here.

We all became ready with party poppers in our hand and as soon as the lift opened all the party poppers blasted at the same time. He looked around and looked confused " WISH YOU A MANY MORE HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR XAVIER KNIGHT . " we all wished in an unison and he was happy .

The party started and he cut his cake . Later on everyone started talking , dancing and eating . I was busy sitting in the bar and talking to Mel , Kyle and Sierra.

" Excuse me , can I have this dance with you . " Liam asked Sierra and she nodded . Soon everyone was busy dancing with their own partners and I sat in the bar sipping my juice .

Don't take me wrong because first of all I don't drink because I have zero alcohol tolerance and I don't want to ruin this night so here I end up drinking juice.

" Excuse me, can I have this dance with you . " I looked up to see the one and only Xavier and before I can say anything he pulled me towards the dance floor.

We were dancing for some song and I started speaking " happy birthday Mr knight . " I said and he whispered in my ears " It is actually Xavier for you my love . Now say it . " a shiver ran down my spine " Happy birthday Xavier . " I said looking down .

We danced like that for few more minutes and again he spoke " Thank you for everything Ana . No one has done this to me . " I looked up at smiled at him .

" Ana " he said and I looked up again
" Will you be my girlfriend ? " he asked looking into my eyes

" Huh ." I looked like as if I saw a gorilla .
" Take your own time and give a proper answer to me.  You know I am not a patient man so give an answer soon . "

The song ended and he winked at me and I stood there like an idiot .

Now what the hell is this ???
