Hanging Out-( Akira x Ryuji)

Is this a Confession?

Ryuji was with Ann, Yusuke and Futaba at a cafe. It was a few days leading up to Valentines Day. Ryuji wasn't really so lucky when it came to that day, he eventually gave up on trying to impress girls since it momently didn't work, so he sadly accepted that pinning over woman who weren't that into him was a waste of time until he met Akira. At first he just saw him as a cool friend that was fun to hang around with inside or outside the metaverse until one day, he was conflicted about his feelings for him.

"I can't do this, I've never dated anyone before!" Ryuji mumbled.

"Well you told us you liked him, You've known him for a couple of years so why not use this as an opportunity to learn from his experience of dating?" Ann suggested to Ryuji.

"That is true but...how do I know if he does like me?...I mean some of those times he made those jokes, we're mainly just to mess with me."

Yusuke added, while stirring his coffee. "Akira isn't really one to open up so easily at times, he sometimes prefers to keep it to himself but I can't doubt that he's not afraid to be express himself."

"Exactly!" Futaba replies getting up from her seat. "Sojiro told me that he's never seen Akira on his phone so much, which
Is weird because he only uses it occasionally or it's mainly because he's was busy with the metaverse navigations years ago and is still trying to adjust to his freedom, but regarding how strong his friendship is with you, He sometimes waits for responses, blushing, wether he was joking or not these are clear signs that he likes you, you dummy." Futaba rambled. Ryuji averted his eyes with a puzzled and embarrassed look but was sceptical on what or how on what Akira thinks.

"You really think this will work?"

"Well it depends." Yusuke lightly shrugged  crossing his arms. "Some people have the tendency to go to extremes to try and impress that person they develop yearning feelings for that significant other, which can make them come across as desperate"

The blonde male thought about that tendency, he glanced over at his phone, contemplating.

"You gonna tell him?, because you look like you want to but don't really know how to bring it up in words" Futaba asked. "You can't keep hiding how you truly feel forever"

"Futaba's right, It's just gonna bother you even more if you keep hiding it and Valentines Day is this week, so why not tell him to go out on that day?, just be yourself, it's better late than never" Ann abstracted, nudging his arm a bit.

Ryuji picked up his phone and opened the messaging, he sighs and starts typing.

Meanwhile, Akira recently finished his shift in Leblanc, He took off his apron and went upstairs in the attic to hear his phone buzzing in his pocket as he took it out swiping up to see a long message by Ryuji suggesting if he would like to hang out on February 14th, the dark haired male was at first puzzled regarding what day it would be on that day. Akira didn't really have any plans on Friday, so he decided to reply and accept his offer.

Morgana looked over his shoulder, while reading the messages,finding it oddly suspicious.

"I guess he wants to hang out with you on that day Huh?, he seems pretty calm about it regarding on what day he wants to meet you on" he squinted and sighed, giving a deadpan look. "Well...I'll leave you to it"

-Friday, February 14th Valentines Day

It was a relaxing quiet evening, the city was surrounded by couples on dates, cuddling, eating out, holding hands and sharing chocolate, Obaliba Seaside Park was one of the best attractions for couples, families and friends to hang out. The two teenagers casually walked around while taking in the atmosphere, looking back on some vivid memories of the place, they went on a few rides and played retro games at the arcade for a couple of hours and as the day started getting dark, The blonde male noticed a big ferris wheel and he felt like this would be a good opportunity for them to talk in private from the public eye.
