Soooooooooo I've never written a TMR fanfic before, but I've read plenty of excellent ones. I'm pretty sure that I don't have to do this, but all characters and settings belong to James Dashner, except for most of Group B, blah blah blah. But the plot is entirely mine (at least in the beginning) and I'm having a huge brain cramp with all my other stories, so I was like why not? Anywayyyyyyyyy I'm still doing some research and re-reading the books so correct me if something's wrong.
If you can't guess, Neil is part of Group B and somehow ends up in Group A. I'm only used to Group A slang, so pardon me if it's a little off.
I mean, I thought this was a pretty good idea, but who knows if it's not. I got a little sick of the romance stories circling around the Ivy Trio and I suck at writing love stories so yeah. I'm not sure where I want to go with this story but there will definitely be something lovey-ish.
I've also kinda made up my own sort of Group B slang, cuz I only know that they call people "stick". I've also gone through WattPad looking for some slang ideas and found two really good sources. One is called "How to Write The Maze Runner Fanfiction" by stilestastic and the other is called "Group B [TMR]" by OneJumpAhead. So here you go, if you're confused:

P.P.S. Neil used to be a girl named Grace, but James Dashner said that Newt is gay so I changed it. Tbh, I quite like the idea of a gay Newt and a male main character cuz there are so few of them. Hope you enjoy it!!
