I am a single woman as of right now. My ex husband, Curtis, left me for a woman 20 years younger than him a month ago. I'm a hotel manager and I have developed the love of baking. I live in a small apartment in Los Angelos, CA.
As of right now it's around 6:00 at night and I'm making my dinner. It gets kind of lonely sometimes but I hang out with my friends a lot. After dinner I was washing my dishes and silverware. I get a call.

As soon I see that I drop the knife that was in my hand and it lands on my bare foot. It wasn't sharp enough to go through my foot but it was sharp enough to make a fairly deep cut. I pick up the phone and answer it.
