Harry's POV
It was silent, not a good kind either. All you heard were the other cars zooming past. No one cared to say a word as Louis drove down streets towards the penthouse. No one understood what was going on, no one asked either though. I think everyone was scared. One second, Louis had no emotion and just wasn't himself. He comes back from that tree and is better? Calmer? Happier? It was like magic or something and I wasn't sure if I was okay with what happened back there, even if I dont know what it was. I just keep wondering why we were heading back to the penthouse. Out of all the places in Pittsburgh, we were going back to the penthouse. How he was acting back there, it was scary. How he was talking was just creepy. Him saying he got a proper goodbye? What the hell was that suppose to mean? I look up at Louis in the driver seat, a small frown set on his face. His eyes still bright but, that frown, hell he's confusing today.
I look next to me, seeing Carly just watch the cars go by. Although we were sitting next to eachother, she wouldn't touch me. She kept her head on the window and now that I look slightly more, It looks as if she is crying. I reach my hand to her hand which is laying on her lap. As our skin makes contact, she pulls her hand away. Her hand just laid closer to the door. She didn't even turn her head when I tried to hold her hand. I sigh and just look back down at my lap. There wasn't much to do. Carly won't talk, period. Louis is on some insane trip. The rest of the lads are just wishing for this to all pass over. What are you suppose to do in times like this?
Time started to pass and we were in front of the penthouse. Louis was the first to hop out and go straight into the building. Carly got out almost as fast, following in Louis' step. The rest of us had been more slow, none of us really understood. We were all so damn drained from everything that's been going on. I just watched as the two kept on moving and I really couldn't care less at the moment. The boys and I have finally made it into the lobby of the hotel we were staying at. Louis and Carly were already out of sight, obviously showing they had already gotten the elevator before any of us were out of the damn van. I yawn and stretch before heading over and pressing the button. The boys were quiet. It was surprising, for once we weren't actig like idiots that we have been since we met. The elevator beeped and next thing I knew, we were up at the top and standing down the hall from our door, which was hanging wide open.
I walked forward, everyone following behind. Liam had closed the door behinde us all and I looked around trying to see where they went. Next thing any of us knew, there was a loud bang. We all looked at each other with wide eyes and raced up the steps. When we see what door was opened, we all stopped, ramming into each other.
Louis' door was opened, wide open.
No one, not even Louis, had used that room. Not since Eve left.
_______
Carly's POV
As me and Louis stepped into the elevator, he started pacing. He ran his hand through his messy soft hair and kept his eyes glued to the ground. I blink away tears and lean against the elevator wall, staring at the ceiling. I wanted these damn tears to leave, but I seemed to have no luck. The elevator ride is painstakingly long and I just wanted to reach the top already. I wanted to know what laid, waiting there for him, for the boys, for me.
Louis stopped pacing and looked over at me, I didn't move my head to look him in the eye, I just couldn't do it. I had barely looked Louis in the eye since we found out at the hospital. Fuck, I haven't looked any of the boys in the eyes but, at least I talked to the others. After the whole attack I had at the hospital, I haven't talked to Louis or Liam.
