That night, Dave had finished up his nightly snack and headed into his room. Instead of hopping on his Nintendo Switch Lite, he thought about what happened that day, and decided, if he was given these powers for a reason might as well have a suit and base to go with them right?
The next morning, Dave comes out of his room, in his suit that was built from scratch. He modified his shirt and shorts to withstand speeds that are impossible to reach without a fighter jet, his shoe soles were made to be friction-resistant, so they wouldn't catch on fire, and he created some sunglasses that were so resistant, you could drop them in a black hole and they'd be fine. He also created a glove for his right hand, which was now super scarred.
He walked outside, set some directions to the Great Wall of China, and ran there in about three minutes. He reached the the Great Wall and ran up and own it like 20 times before heading home.
His suit test was successful and the best part is that his suit looks like normal clothes.
All he needed was a secret base, so he made it so he could walk into his closet, close the door, type in a password, and the back of the closet would part like those automatic doors you see at stores. And the doorway opened to Dave's lab/secret base. Dave picked out a fitting superhero name, Lightspeed.
In Lightspeed's base there is the main computer, his suit-up room where he basically steps on a certain pressure plate that activates a device that suits him up, kinda like Iron Man.
He also had his katana on his wall on the way out. Not to mention a huge open space with nothing there. Yet.
