Chapter 2-New Beginnings

A whole month had passed and school is almost starting y/n got a part time job as a caregiver in a nursing home. Eventhough he wasn't 18 yet the people there were more than willing to hire him as they were short staffed. The job pays well enough for him to rent a small apartment a couple blocks away from school. He enjoyed working there the people around him are really nice and caring and all he needs to do is just supervise or be on call for anybody who needs help. He got close to all the staff there and they all treat him well.

On the other hand, TWICE was a wreck when they went to visit y/n's house again they noticed that all his stuff were gone and there only was trash and broken glass left. As soon as they left the house nayeon and jihyo broke down bawling their eyes out, crouching on the floor. The girls brought her to chaeyoung's house and decided to have a sleepover

In a few weeks school will start the TWICE members were all still worried for nayeon and jihyo but what they didn't know was that chaeyoung had it worst. Chaeyoung kept her feelings to herself, her childhood friend just disappeared. Nayeon and jihyo kept crying till they fell asleep,this made the other members worried.

The next day y/n was getting ready to go to work. He showered, ate breakfast and walked out the door. While walking he saw the whole city around him and started taking it in,he grabbed his earphones from his bag and plugged it in. He played multiple songs till one song made him tear up a little. The song was 'don't give up on me' by Andy grammer

This song reminded him of all the fun they had together. He first heard the song while watching 5 feet apart with the girls,he remembered all the members tearing up watching the movie and he being the man comforted them all. He stopped the music and decided not to listen to it anymore. Walking down the street he then arrived infton of the glass doors. Opening it he greeted the front desk and went to the lockers,changing into his scrubs he then smiled sadly at a picture of his complete family, there was his mom, his dad and 2 children smiling brightly.

He then started to walk down the hallway greeting everyone he see's and headed to the cafeteria where he would help the elderly. He greeted the old woman and sat next to her accompanying her while she eats. The woman smiled at him and thanked him. He then just went to the lounge where elderly would stay when they have nothing to do and supervise,he did this for the rest of the day and headed back home.

While walking home he can't help but think what is going to happen when he comes back to school. How can he avoid all the people going after him and what can he do about his friends. Stepping into the small apartment he dropped his bags and layed on the couch staring at the ceiling for a good 10 minutes then he decided to shower and head to bed.

A few weeks had passed and it was the first day of school. The TWICE members woke up to the sounds of their alarms and all got ready. Jeongyeon texted the groupchat telling them to all get ready for her to pick them up. The TWICE members always carpool together when their going to school and sometimes they would bring y/n along with them. They all individually got ready and waited for jeongyeon to pick them up. It was oy 7:00 o'clock so they still had an hour till classes start. Jeongyeon started with nayeon as she was nearest to her, then jihyo, dahyun, tzuyu then lastly chaeyoung.

They then arrived at school at 7:30 leaving 30 minutes to chill around school. They went to the back of the school where they always hung out and leaned back on the cherry blossom tree. The 3mix (nayeon, jeongyeon, jihyo) stayed there longer while the maknaes headed to their lockers to get ready for their first class. The maknae line were racing to the lockers and chaeyoung acciedently bumped into someone knocking her books. Chaeyoung immediately bowed down and apologise picking up the books. While picking the books up chaeyoung accidentally touched the persons hand startling her. The person was shocked so she faced chaeyoung making eye contact staring at her brown orbs.

Standing up chaeyoung handed the person the books and introduced herself. "Hi I'm Chaeyoung, I'm very sorry for bumbing into you, I've never seen you before are you new?" said chaeyoung. The person then looked at her in the eyes and nodded her head replying with only "Hi I'm mina ur cute" mumbling the last part. Chaeyoung then smiled and headed to her locker. Dubu with a smirk stood there in front of her locker raising her eyebrow up and down. Tzuyu stifled a laugh and waited for chaeyoung to get her stuff.

Mina was in shock after seeing the cute cub. She skipped happily to her friends momo and sana telling them what happened. Sana kept on asking "is she cute" "was she sexy" "do you like her?" while momo was just laughing while munching on chips. Mina was so embarrassed so she slapped each of their shoulders and they all went to class.

Y/n woke up late at 7:45 there was only  15 minutes left till classes start. He quickly showered putting on a black hoddie and sweats, skipping breakfast he then sprinted to school as fast as he could. He stood in front of the classroom door at exactly 7:56 putting on a cold face walking in the class. He saw that jihyo wasnt in his class but nayeon was. Nayeon eyes widened seeing y/n there, she wanted to approach him but before she could even stand up the teacher came in the class with 3 new students.

Y/n sat on his desk and stared at the 3 girls. He looked at each girl form head to toe. The first one had beautiful blonde hair that was shoulder length and an amazing body (sorry but momo 💦) the second girl had orange hair and a cute smile the last girl had long blonde golden locks and cute moles on her face. They then introduced themselves. He learned their names were Momo, Sana and Mina they are from Japan.

The teacher then said "Mina please take a seat next to y/n, y/n please raise your hand" this caught y/n's attention but he didn't care. He didn't raise his hands up, the teacher just sighed and just pointed to where y/n was sitting. Mina walked over to y/n and said "Hi I'm Mina I hope we could be friends" y/n just glanced at her and didn't even spare a word. He then knew that today was going to be a long day
