*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I woke up to the horrid sound of my alarm, stretching my body I sat up on my bed and look at the clock my eyes widened as I saw the time. It was 7:30 and my flight is at 8:00 crap at this point I'm gonna miss the plane. I quickly got ready and took all my necessities, I went out my house and hailed a taxi thank god there was one right infront of my house. I check the time and it was already 7:20, I asked the driver to go as quickly as possible as I might miss my flight.

Once we arrived I quickly payed the man and rushed in the airport. I ran to the check in center, as I was finishing up my check in I heard the speakers
"Ms. Y/N Lee, Ms. Y/N Lee this is the final call for Ms. Y/N Lee please head to gate 7 for flight KR 011196 to Seoul, Korea, I repeat please head to gate 7 for  flight KR 011196 to Seol, Korea. Thank you". The check in lady quickly finished up my check in and called over the airport buggy. I thanked her and sat next to the driver who was speeding through the airport to get to my gate.

Thankfully I was able to get there in time and I board in. I went in the plane and searched for my seat in economy. As I was walking through the pathway I accidentally dropped my passport, right when I was about to pick it up I bumped my head into someone, looking up I saw 4 masked girls staring at me. 1 was about to pick up my passport and the other 3 was to my left already seated. I muttered an apology quickly picking up my passport and went to my seat. I sighed as I sat down and settled in my seat.

As the plane started moving I closed my eyes and relaxed for a bit till we were up in the air, I took out my earphones and plugged them in my phone playing "Beach Again" By SSAK3 (I'm obsessed with this song it's so good you should give it a listen the dance is very fun to do too). I'm not actually fully korean I am just half my father is korean and my mother is american I spent only 5 years in Korea and then left to America with my mom. I am 21 now which means that I've been living in the states for basically all my life.

Even if I'm not in Korea my parents wants me to keep my roots so I have korean lessons, my dad didn't come with us to the states because he needed to take care of the company in Korea and he thinks that it would be good for me to go to the States and I must admit I miss him so much. I don't really know much about Korea eventhough I'm half Korean and it makes me feel so out of place, I mean I'm half Korean for gods sake. The only thing I knew and enjoyed watching was the show "Hang out with yoo" which was basically a show about Yoo Jae Suk the national MC of Korea doing challenges and projects. I recently saw his new project group which was SSAK3 and it was amazing. Sadly other than that I don't know much about other Korean culture like kpop or kdramas, I mean it's not like I haven't tried it was just that I didn't have enough time.

I am a music major and I really enjoy it, I have worked with the record label interscope records, I made a song for Billie Eilish and since then I think I just blew up. This is the main reason I'm going to Korea right now, I got a call from an entertainment company named JYP I believe and if I was able to produce some songs for their artists. I was already planning to go to Korea this summer break anyways so I thought why not I would be able to see my dad and plus pursue my music career.

Being an idiot I am I didn't know anything about the entertainment industry in Korea so I researched alot about it. I found out this entertainment company JYP is one of the biggest  companies in Korea. So from all my research I think I got the main idea down, basically these companies were like record labels in the States but instead of signing them when they already have music released, the companies train them to become idols. Becoming idols means they must be able to sing dance and look perfect all at the same time, I can't possibly image doing that and all the pressure that the idols get is unthinkable for me
