Chapter 6

Maybe she has some work to do.
I don't want her to work of course, by god sakes she is the luna queen!

But at the same time I can't risk her life. My wolf would die if his mate did so do I.

"Come to my office" I mind linked James (A/N I have changed the Beta's name )
"Coming"He replied back.

A moments later I heard a knock on my door. It was james assuming by his scent. Shit. That was a joke.

"Enter" I said

"So what is the thing with Flora huh" He asked grinning and sitting on one of the chairs in front of my desk.

"I think there is someone powerful behind her. She is acting like one of the royals already and owns the place" I replied sarcastically

"Hmm, Didn't your uncle brought her? And said he knew her since years?" He replied seriously

"You mean he is backing her up?"I replied

"Sort of man, did you notice anything suspicious between them lately?"He asked

I swam in my thoughts . Any thing suspicious. Anything suspicious. I kept repeating in my head. Ahh!! The girl who got hit incident.

James was staring at me eagerly waiting for my answer.

"Yes there was a new maid who came with the rouges , she refused a job Flora gave her so she ordered the guards to hit her back with a whip ."

"Who told you?" James asked

"My m- My new maid" I replied back quickly. I can't tell him she is my mate now.

I should ignore her as well. I can't let my fvckn feelings control me! It once controlled me and I lost someone very important to me.

"Let me continue" I replied seriously

"I didn't just stand there and I know some workers of mine are getting abused, you know I don't abuse any of my people unless they betrayed me.."

"..So I went to the maids' floor to check on her and know what exactly happened, Once I get closer to her door I heard girl's screaming and Flora's voice shouting at her and telling the guards to kick her in the guts!.."

"..I took action and I was going to take her to the dungeons but zachary burged in suddenly I don't even know who told him, Then he said he will punish her bec he is the one who brought her and will kick the guards out.."

"..Of course he can't make anything without my permission so I just nodded in agreement " I told him

"Man you stupid or what? Honestly I didn't like your uncle for once since I saw him, He is backing her up like she is one of his gang!" James said

I didn't like him calling me stupid but It's not the time to get angry. Should I tell him about the letters? In speak of the letters topic, I stopped receiving any since My uncle came back from his trip today. Are they kinda of ..related?

"James There is something else I didn't tell you " I told him

"What again?" He asked boringly

"I have been receiving Anoymus letters , 4 letters about someone one wants to kill my mate and not to say who she is to anyone" I replied furrowing my eyebrows

"Did you even find your mate" he laughed

He is still laughing. Haha funny let me shock you.

"Yes" I replied . His face turned pale.

"When ? Where is she? Do you even believe those letters" he asked a lot of questions at the same time

"Yesterday, one of the new rouges she is my personal maid. Those letters sounds serious even if it's not real I shall take my precautions. I can't risk losing anyone james" I replied

"And don't you dare tell any one even Victoria or my uncle even the bug walking on the street" I said looking in his grey eyes showing even I'm serious of serious now.

"Sure man I swear to god not to tell any one even my mate or the bug on the street and your uncle I hate" He replied seriously

Then we two fall back in laughs.

Zachary's pov

"Don't you dare cause any scene again Flora especially in front of alexander" I said angrily

"I'm sorry , I won't repeat it . You told me to do my job very good" she said bowing her head.

"I told you that but not by hitting them of course some one of your new maids told him" I told her "did you assign a new maid for him?"I asked her making my eyebrows touch

She raised her head attached with a confused look on her face.

"Yes one of the new rouges who came yesterday" she replied still with the same look.

"Must be she" I replied frowning

"What shall I do ?" She asked changing her look to a serious one.

"You love hitting people right?" I smirked

"That's my hidden talent! You want me to show it again?"She said replying back the smirk

"I'm backing you up,Go a head" I replied with an eyebrow raised and my eyes moving towards the office door gesturing for her to go.

Emma's pov

Alexander asked for me in his office . I don't even know why maybe he wants some coffee or something. It couldn't be that the office isn't clean because I already have cleaned it so no way.

Sometimes he know I'm his mate and teasing me like by gods sake he called me little mate!!! And then he returned back coldly again. I started thinking  he is a bipolar or there is really some thing behind his actions as Lu said like some one is threatening him he'd kill me If he knew I'm his mate hahaha funny right? What is really his reason?!!!!

Ok enough with the shit talking .That sentence ! That sentence reminded me of alot of memories.
I was a very talkative child in my childhood . When my mom was cooking in the kitchen I used to accompany her and observe, I always ask what is that she is pouring and frying and what its use , And she replied playfully with "enough with shit talking and come learn some recipes to cook for your mate 'oh yeah my do called mate who ignores me' I wish you were here with me , you and dad. I felt a tear roll down on my cheeks , I quickly wiped it with my thumb. Ok let me continue.

Then after the death of my parents I ran into the streets roaming around not knowing where to go we have no relatives to my knowledge, I kept walking for two hours crying and sobbing for both my parents' death and getting lost . I saw faint lights 1 km away, I kept running towards it until I my body got hit with a soft one and I felt to the ground gladly it was Miss Williams who took me in and took care of me. God bless her. I already forgave her for letting me go that day she can't handle the royal guards and I found my sweet cold mate.

I stood in front of the office door . Inhale exhale. I knocked hearing a faint 'come in' from the other side of the door.

"Yes your majesty?" I asked looking at him but he was working on his computer not giving me attention .

"I want a cup of coffee with extra milk and three cubes of sugar please " he said still not looking at me.

Rolling my eyes mentally.

"In a minute it will be here , your majesty" I replying bowing my head and head outside.

Really ignoring me now huh? Not gonna leave you mr cold pants.
