Few months after Yuu joined the Greil Mercenaries, they were within the boundaries of Crimea. She was with Mist, eating lunch together and Mist had to ask her this question.

Mist's Pov

"Hey Yuu. I got to ask you something." I said.
"What is it?" The girl responds asks.
"So what do you think of Ike?" I asked.
"He's fine." She replied.
"Do you like him?" I said and she gave me a confused look.
"Of course. He's my friend." She said and took a bite of her bread.
"No, I meant do you like like him." I explained and she choked. Yuu gulped down her glass of water and slammed it down on the table.
"Heck no."
"Why not?" I said.
"He's terribly blunt in ways, we're completely different beings, and he wouldn't like me that way. He will always be a friend and commander to me. Nothing more than that." Yuu declared, which made me smile. Denial, huh?
"I have to say, you've said that wrong. He's pretty understanding, you two are exactly alike, and he would probably like you." I said and she just crossed her arms.
"So what?" She questioned.
"You didn't say you don't like him." I pointed out and pink flooded her cheeks.
"I only see him as a friend only, got it? I'm going to head back the camp." She got up, leaving. Hm, interesting.

Yuu's Pov

Mist, I don't even like him in that manner! He's just my friend. Why did it make me feel strange when she said I didn't mention I don't like him. Damn it Mist... I felt pretty out of place now. While not looking, I bumped into someone.
"Sorry si- commander!" I exclaimed when I looked up. Ike was in front of me, I backed up.
"Oh, good afternoon Yuu. Also, don't call me that when the others aren't around. You're my friend. I don't want you to act like you don't know me." He said.
"Alright, I guess, but it's going to be a bit weird for me sort of. I'm just used to call you that lately." I said, rubbing the back of my neck. He just sighed but smiled. I felt my cheeks burn and I suddenly heard something familiar.
"Big sis!" I heard and I turned to the direction. I saw Ryan, running towards me.
"What is it?" I asked once he stopped.
"Wait up Ryan!" Miciah shouted, running towards us.
"Ryan, you shouldn't run ahead of Miciah. She can't always run after you." I said and he just smiled nervously.
"Big sis, can we go to the market, together?" He said.
"I guess, but why go with me?" I said.
"I want to hang out with you. We never had time together in awhile." He said, which I scratched my cheek a bit.
"That's true..." I said.
"Come on, let's go! You too, Mister!" Ryan shouted happily and ran off.
"Ryan! Jeez, I tell him this a million times." I sighed, annoyed, crossing my arms.
"Well we got to catch up with him then." Ike said and ran too.
"Wait up! Thank you Miciah for watching him." I said to her before I followed Ike. We... sort of lost sight of my brother. I climbed on the rail of a bridge and stood up.
"Hey, be careful." Ike said.
"Don't worry." I saw a glimpse of my brother.
"He's over there! Let's go- woah! " I said until I lost my balance. I began going forwards and Ike grabbed my cape, pulling me back. I fell into his arms and he put me back on my feet.
"I told you to be careful." He said.
"Sorry." I responded, I felt blood rush to my cheeks. Again?! This is so confusing!
"Ryan went that way." I said, pointing the direction. We ran again and caught up with that rascal.
"Ryan! Do I always have to keep saying this? Don't run off by yourself." I said.
"Yuu, I was just excited. You guys are too slow." He said.
"Well you're too fast." I said.
"Well, let's go." He said, about to run again until I grabbed his shirt.
"Don't get too excited." I sighed.
"But I'm with my two favorite people. Who wouldn't get excited?" Ryan said, which me and Ike glanced at each other and both shrugged with an unsure smile. We walked around the place and Ryan always wanted to get food. He's has a bigger appetite than me. He pretty much ate and Ike carried him on his shoulders. It was getting dark and I gave Ryan my cape, so he wouldn't get cold.
"Aren't you cold?" Ike asked, sounding concern.
"No, I'm fine. We should get going soon." I said yawning and I felt something was placed on my shoulders.
"Huh?" I said and there was Ike's cape. I felt myself blush.
"Ike, I'm not cold." I said.
"Then if your not cold, why are your cheeks red? That means your cold." He pointed out and I decided not to say anything on that.
"Well thanks, I guess." I said, looking away. We walked back and by the time we got back to the camp, Ryan was fast asleep. I put him in bed, getting my cape back. I returned Ike's too.
"Sorry about today." I said, scratching the back of my head.
"What are you talking? I actually had a good time with you two." Ike said.
"Huh? All me and Ryan just did was caused you trouble..." I said, fiddling my fingers. For some reason, I felt shy.
"That's what made my day. Well, good night Yuu." He said and left. Today was a strange day, but I do agree it was a good too. Man, I'm so exhausted. Time to hit the sacks then. I laid on my bed and went to sleep.
