Minyoung POV

I stared at my phone screen blankly.

Was I reading that correctly?

Was the universe's biggest flexes on mankind literally following me?

The answer...

Yes. Yes, they were.

I knew that they were friends with Jimin, but they hadn't followed me before.

What changed?

"Namjoon," I breathed.

I was honestly still unsure how I got myself involved in all of this. Namjoon dmed me, then I blocked him, then I unblocked him and we became friends.

That was weird right?

I sighed as I stepped into the daycare-like agency.

Walking in there instantly made me feel happier. I loved helping and playing with kids. It was fun and they were such great children.

It saddened me to see that they had been so wronged by the world, but my goal was to make sure that they could find permanent and loving homes.

"Minyoung unnie!" A familiar voice squealed.

I bent down and opened my arms wide for one of the kids.

A big bright smile came barreling into my arms and tightly hugged me.

I picked the young girl up and spun her around.

"Hi, unnie!"

"Hi Miso. How are you?" I cooed.

"Good! Can we go play house again? Everyone was waiting for you," she gave me big doe eyes.

Ah, my heart.

"Of course. Let me go check in with Miss Cho and then I'll come play with you guys," I said, setting the four-year-old down.

She nodded, running off to go find her friends.

I headed to the main office to clock in, greeting all my colleagues as I did.

"Minyoung! Just the person I want to see! I have some great news!" Miss Cho came out cheery as usual.

I wondered how she ever had that much energy. I wished I could even muster up ten percent of her energy. But alas, college life just sucks it out of you like a vampire.

"I love news!" I smiled.

"So, I've been in talks with a couple and I think they might be a perfect family for little Miso!"

I shrieked, "That's amazing!"

It always made me really happy to hear that kids were going to end up with loving families. No matter how many times, it still left me in awe every time.
