Tuesday, August 27th. The day that changed the children's lives FOREVER. The day when their parents went MISSING. The sisters had just arrived at their house after school. They noticed their parents were not at home, so they decided to look for them in town. Then a social worker came up to them and told them that their parents have been murdered secretly. Mimi was very mad at the workers and hit them with her slippers repeatedly. Meanwhile, Cleo was shouting in a mean voice, "CLEO NEEDS TO FIND KILLER OR ELSE!!!" Macy was suspicious of the social worker who told them the news. But the sisters followed the worker and left the house that they have known for their whole lives to go to a run-down orphanage in the middle of town.

When they went in they were greeted by a kind lady and another orphan named Olivia, who has long golden hair and is two years older than Macy and Mimi. She mostly wears her hair into a high ponytail. Mimi and Macy had gone to Westbrooke Elementary for five years now and they have known everyone there personally, except Olivia who was always quiet and never talked. So they were quite surprised to see each other there.

"Uhh, why are you guys here," Olivia said

"Because our parents are dead, DUH." exclaimed Cleo and Jello.

" Oh my!! These girls may be quite a handful." said the lady in a British accent. She went up to the siblings and looked at them thoughtfully.

"Cleo thinks this orphanage is stinking up my vibe. Also, that lady sounds like Mary Poppins." Cleo whispered to the twins. She was right, the orphanage did.

It had tiny windows and dirt stains. But they would have to call it home for as long as it takes. The lady sighed. She looked at the newcomers and Olivia, the siblings standing still waiting for her to talk and Olivia continuing to read her book, not talking to anyone. "Okay, my name is Mrs. Sofa King. I presume you guys know each other, yes?" The lady- I mean Mrs. Sofa King asked. Mimi, Macy, Jello, and Cleo all nodded their heads except Olivia. "Olivia, show them their rooms. I will make biscuits and tea!" Mrs. Sofa King skipped away to the kitchen.

Olivia rolled her eyes and closed her book.

"I thought your parents were healthy or something." She asked. "They were murdered! We don't know who yet though." Macy replied. "Whatever," Olivia stood up and led them to the stairs up to the rooms. "Here is your room I guess." She says, opening the door. The kids walk in. The room looked like no-one had been there for a long time. "Um, do you guys have any cleaners or something? This place is dustier than the attic in our house. Or what used to be. It got destroyed after our parents died." Mimi said sassily. Cleo licks the small lolly in her hands. "Cleo wants more lollies!!" She says impatiently. "Well no-one really comes here much, so we don't pay attention to here," Olivia says embarrassed. "ANYWAYS, if you don't have any more questions, I will go now! No? Okay!" Olivia says in a rush while trying to get out.

"Stop right there," Mimi orders. Olivia groans as she stops in her tracks. "Why are YOU here?" Mimi asks. "I would rather keep it a secret-" Olivia says shyly UwU "Yeah we told you why our parents died so now we want to know how you got here!" Macy says. "I didn't even ask, you guys just told me," Olivia says crossing her arms. "No! Cleo heard you say 'i thought your parents healthy blah blah blah.'" Cleo says spitting some saliva.

"I won't tell you," Olivia says, then turns around and runs away. The siblings stare after her. "Hey guys, why aren't you doing anything?" Mimi urged. "Eh, I don't really feel like doing anything, especially after this long day," Macy says. Then Macy flops down on the bottom bunk on the left side of the bunk bed. "Cleo agrees." Cleo then lays down on her back on the bottom bunk of the right bunk bed, licking her cherry lolly.

"Fine... anyways I'll go downstairs to see if Mrs. Sofa King is done, Kay bye!" Mimi says then runs downstairs.
