After sharing a shower they tumbled into bed drifting into a quiet night of sleep. Awaken from the best sleep she had in years noticing the empty spot beside her. Xavier left a note on her bedside table informing her that he had an important meeting to attend and that he would give her a call as soon as it was done. Her mind shifts to Xavier's impossibly domineering tone wondering why it affected her in such a way.
Starla sat at her dinning table sipping on some coffee smiling as she recalls her night. She kept asking herself what was it about him that had captured her so much, she willingly allowed him into her private space. Her mind wonders to all the things he does to her and the way his demands make her core clench.
She always known there was something hinged inside her. Something she was beginning to realize she had left closed up for to long. She kept her mind and heart closed off to everyone except Ciara and Kayla. She is slowly starting to discover a new Starla. A Starla who wants things that ordinary people do not want. She realizes that his dominance fulfill a need and turns her on more than anything ever had.
As a woman who thrives to keep everything and everyone at a certain distance, she was slowly discovering that there is something in her that longs to be truly owned. To be truly loved, cherished and not to be forced into things she did not want to do. She pushes the unwanted dark thoughts away as she stands to take care of her dishes.
"It's time Star. Time to take back your mind and your life. Time to discover yourself." With confidence she walks to her wardrobe, squealing as she pulls out a beautiful sundress along with some yellow pumps to match. She takes extra care in her appearance and was out the door before the next tick of the clock.
As she walked Starla embraced the fact that she liked the hustle and bustle of life and the sounds of the birds singing as they perch on the branches of trees or benches. She gets a soya been ice cream with her favorite sugar cone and sit on the nearest bench leaning in to the sounds surrounding her. Breathing in the fresh earthy air she pulls her book out to read for a little. Lost in her book Starla does not hear or notice when someone sat next to her.
"Well isn't it the little slut." Her breath caught in her throat as she lifts her head up to the face beside her. She does not remember his name but his face was imprinted in her memory forever.
Starla remembers that day when she was eight years old like it was yesterday. The memories just come crashing down on her like a rain storm. She moves away from him walking quickly to the nearest booth. He looks at her with a dirty smirk as she walked off.
"Are you okay ma'am?" the attendant at the booth asked.
"Yes I am fine thank you. I'd like to try a movie please any recommendations?" she queries as she tries to calm her erratic heart beat. The guy gave her a ticket to the Fantastic Beasts movie, she smiles before walking into the theatre.
After watching the movie Starla treats herself to her favorite pizza and BBQ wings then walks back to her home. She takes pictures of the passing birds also of herself as her hair flows in the wind. She had forgotten all about her earlier experience and feels at peace with her surroundings. At home she showers and sits down with a hot chocolate as she finishes her book.
