Arriving at her destination Starla makes her way to her door unlocking it. Just as she closes the door behind her, she noticed a dark figure standing across the street. She slams the door making sure to lock every latch in. Stepping back shaking violently as she stambles onto the sofa nearest to the door sitting there as fear takes over her body.

She tries to slowy take in deep breaths just as advised by her doctor in effort to control the panic that infilrates her mind. Dropping her face in her hand, with tears running down her face as she cries due to the sudden stress on her sensibility. She does not want to believe that she just saw the last person she wanted to see.

"He is still behind bars where he is suppose to be". She told herself in effort to calm her erratic heartbeat.

She stood up relaxing the from the episode she just had and drags herself to her bedroom where she lazily starts to undress. She walks into her bathroom standing in front of the full length mirror looking at herself.

"He called me beautiful. I am not ugly" She repeatly reminds herself.

Bringing back that confidence of how beautiful she truly is. She removes her underwear, turns on the shower awaiting the water to get hot before stepping in. Standing under the running hot rains until the chill inside her recedes. She reaches of her favorite Honey wash by Victoria Secret's to lather up herself,  gently rubbing from her neck down to her full breast. Just as her mind begins to drift to a better place her phone rings. She quickly wraps a towel around her running to the landline phone on the bedside table.

"Hello". she answered

"Starla when are you going to send me the pic I asked for". The frisson returns when she recognized who was on the other end of the call.

" I don't have a number for you. I've changed phones and I lost my contacts." She lies.

"Okay I will send you a new one and Starla I'll be waiting." He said

"Where are you?" She asked trying to keep her voice from trembling.

"The one place I don't want to be right now, in the pen". He responded

"Okay". She released a silent sigh of relief.

"I'm waiting Starla. You don't want to disappoint me do you? " He reminded her.

"No." Is all she can say

"Good. Now run along and send me that pic." She ended the call before he could even say more.

She walks into her closest pulling out the shortest black dress she owns with a tall pair of heels to match. Grabbing her cellphone texting her bestfriends Ciara and Kayla requesting to meet up with her at Club Xotica. She throws her phone on the bed as she re-enters the bathroom to finish up her shower quickly.

Once she was done, Starla quickly dried herself, getting dressed, pulling her hair up into a messy bun and then applying her make up on a heavier than usual. As she exits the bedroom Starla takes one last good look at herself in the mirror before heading out. Starla gets in her car that she always seems to forget that she owns, driving to the club instead since she does not feel like walking six blocks down to the club tonight. Arriving at the club Starla spotted her girls already waiting at the entrance.

After finding the perfect parking spot near the entrance. She walked toward her friends, they embraced her in a much needed hug upon arrival, knowing why she would call them up on such short notice. Starla has always loved these two women, they have always been there for her whenever she calls no questions asked. Even at times when they should be resting, tired or not they showed up for her.

"You're gonna be okay Star". They both said in sync.

They entered the club finding sits for them in the far corner of the club, taking their sits allowing the music slowly drenching into their systems. Sitting there none of them uttered a word, when Starla felt like she could finally breath steadily she told her friends what happened.
