Ebi was kidnapped by the Raiders around a year after the Fallout. Another year went by and there was no recovery mission for her, many in the camp assumed she was dead. Ryann had been planning a recovery mission for Ebi, but quickly got caught up in the business of being leader of the outpost. Ebi's name was lost in the other missing persons file and wasn't given a second thought. Enza frequently visited the Raider camp for information, there she was known as Merc. Short for Merchant, but really she acted more as a Mercenary.
Enza would visit the Raider's bar where Ebi was the barmaid. Enza and Ebi were very fond of eachother, but Enza didn't give it much thought since she was behind enemy lines. Ebi always welcomed Enza with her flirtatious personality even if Enza wouldn't play along. It seemed like Ebi recognized Enza from Ryann's outpost, but Enza didn't recognize Ebi as the missing person from a year ago. Ebi never gave away or hinted at Enza being a part of Ryann's outpost, Ebi was simply happy to see a familiar face often.
One day, Enza was going through the missing persons file and found Ebi's picture. She was shocked that she didn't recognize her as the Raider's barmaid. Enza shortly argued with Ryann as to why a recovery mission wasn't planned and Ryann explained that she didn't want a target painted on the outpost for one person. Ryann gave Enza permission to go after Ebi, but warned that it'd be a suicide mission. Enza didn't know what motivated her to rescue Ebi, she just wanted Ebi to be with her.
Ebi also had enough with keeping secrets from Enza, and wondered if Enza was just toying with her as well. Ebi had a different plan of gathering information than just talking with Enza.
Enza walked into the bar after a long day.
"Hi, hi pretty lady." Ebi greeted with the biggest smile.
"Save the charm for someone that it'll work on, love." Enza walked up to the bar stand and sat down on a stool with her arms cross on the stand.
"If it didn't work then why do you call me love?" Ebi softly smiled, trying to taunt out an answer.
"Hmm." Enza smiled back defeated.
"The regular, Merc?" Ebi quickly moved on.
"Yeah, please." Enza replied.
"Raiders brought back some games for the bar." Ebi motioned her head behind Enza.
Enza turned her head for a moment and Ebi slipped a pill into Enza's drink. It quickly dissolved and Ebi placed the drink in front of Enza before she turned her head back.
Enza gave a heads up, "Thanks." And took a slip.
Enza calmly spit it back into the cup and looked at Ebi. Enza picks up the glass and drops it on the ground, spilling the drink.
"Merc, are you okay!" Ebi runs around the bar stand to Enza.
Enza grabs Ebi's hand and slams it on the table, pulling a knife above the back of Ebi's hand.
"A roofie? Really?" Enza says trying to keep her anger in check.
"Please, Enza I-" Ebi panics.
"Oh! Enza? Wow!" Enza moves Ebi's arm behind her back and places the knife to Ebi's neck.
"What information do you know about me and who else knows?" Enza threatens.
Ebi stops struggling and Enza slowly lets go of Ebi.
Ebi turns around defeated, "You don't recognize me?" Tears begin to well up in her eyes.
Enza lets out a heavy sigh and puts the knife away, "Of course I do, Hannah." Enza glances away as she can't meet Ebi's crying eyes.
"Why roofie me? What information did you need?" Enza questions not out of blame, but curiosity.
"Why did you guys come for that hostage, Christian? Huh? Why not me! Why not me!" Ebi began to hit Enza in frustration.
Enza grabbed Ebi's arms and pulled her into a hug.
"If I'm being honest, I recently found your file and Ryann barely gave me the go ahead. I didn't recognize you before." Enza began. "I needed more intel, but you were next Hannah, you were next." Enza's voice cracks as she hugs Ebi tighter.
Enza takes Ebi's head into her hands, "Really though why roofie me?" Enza asked, lighthearted.
"I don't have anything valuable to trade, roofie was the next best thing." Ebi admitted.
"I would've done anything for you for free." Enza whispers.
"Anything?" Ebi's eyes light up looking at Enza.
Enza simply nodded.
Ebi closed her eyes and leaned in towards Enza, Enza closed the gap between them as they kissed.
Enza pulls away and places her head above Ebi's, hugging her.
"I'll get you out here, Hannah, even if it kills me." Enza whispers to her.
We hear footsteps approach the bar, and Enza quickly backs away from Ebi to grab her stuff.
Jace walks in with 2 other raid members.
"What's going on?" Jace asks Enza.
"Barmaid got the drink wrong, I took care of it, hope you don't mind." Enza smiles intimidatingly.
Enza begins to walk out when Jace grabs her arm.
"Do you need something? Because that'll cost you a hide and some food." Enza glares at Jace.
"No. All good here." Jace smiles.
"Good because I need to make it to my next trade before the Rain starts." Enza replies.
"Wouldn't want to keep you." Jace lets go of Enza and Enza leaves.
