The group made it to 'The Dark World', where they too could see the decrepit, wasteland that it was.
"I know your father would kill us if he knew we brought you here", Elder Icey said, shakily. "But it's for a good reason", Elder Flame stated as they landed.
They looked around the area.
"See anywhere he could be?", Elder Rocky said. Rain-Bow was looking when something caught his eyes.
"Over there maybe?"
They all looked over to where he was to see the castle Light had gone to.
"Good. We'll start there", Elder Flame claimed. They made their way over and were a bit weary to go in. Elder Breeze used his wings to make wind to open the door, considering everyone was respectfully afraid to lay a finger on anything in the area except the ground. As the door opened slowly, a cold breeze came from within.
The interior was cold and damp like before. The group stayed close together. Rain-Bow neared closer behind Night.
"Are you ok, Night?", he asked her.
Night looked behind herself.
"For the most part. I'm just worried about my dad."
Rain-Bow smiled to her.
"Don't worry. We'll find him."
Night smiled back to him.
"I hope so too."
At last, they made it to where the throne was along with the dragon. They stopped in their tracks once they saw the dragon who spoke. "Hello, everyone. It's so nice to see you all again. Go on. Make yourselves at home", he finished with a unpleasant smile.
"That's enough, Darkness", Elder Flame said. "Enough? I just wanted you all to feel at home. After all, there is a lady here", the dragon--Darkness from all those years ago finished, looking over to Night, who felt uneasy.
Rain-Bow looked over to her.
"Speaking of here", Darkness started. "There's a guest who's just waiting to see you."
From the shadows of the room, Light appeared beside Darkness' throne. He appeared lifeless, as he was, in his corrupted form, Dim.
"Light? Is that him?"
The Elders gasped among themselves.
"Da... Daddy?!", Night yelped.
As she looked at her now corrupted father, a flash of lighting came by making everything go white.

"Come on, Night! You've got it!"
Light was hovering off a cliffside, which Night was on. Light was trying to teach her how to fly ,but she was too scared to do it. Night tried but fell short.
"I can't do it, Daddy!", she cried.
"Just keep trying, Night!", Light praised. Night tried once more but plumped onto her bottom.
"It's no good! I'll never be able to fly."
Night curled herself up into her lap. Light floated over to her. He extended his muzzle over to Night.
"Hop on!", he said.
She rubbed her nose and hopped on as Light took off to the sky. They floated about the clouds.
"Night, I want you to close your eyes, okay?" Night was hesitant.
"Close my.... eyes?"
"Trust me, sweetie."
Night fixed herself as her eyes closed.
"Now, Night, I want you to open up your wings."
Night did as her father instructed.
"Feel the wind flow between your wings."
The wind blew through Night's hair.
"Now, I want you to flap your wings up and down like before."
Night's wings started to get motion.
"Good. Now, go faster."
Night's wings stared flapping more vibrantly.
"Now, leap off my nose."
Night opened her eyes and looked to her father.
"Trust me", he said sweetly.
Night reclined her eyes and got back into concentration. She took some steps back then leaped off her father's nose. Light's face lit up with excitement.
"Night, open your eyes."
Night slowly peeled her eyes open to see clouds and sky around her. She turned to him.
"Daddy, look! Look!"
He smiled.
"I know, Night. Your flying."
Night got a feeling for the sky. She did flips and tricks in the sky. She then stopped and turned to meet her father's gaze landing back on his nose.
"I'm so proud of you, Night. Let's head back home for the day."
Night smiled, proud of herself.
"Ok, Daddy. But I wanna fly back home, ok?" Light smiled.
"Very well, Night. Go on, sweetie."
Night took to the sky, ahead of her father into the setting sun.

Another clap of thunder brought Night back to the present.
"Indeed", Darkness said. "Your... father is no more. He is my mere servant."
Darkness raised up his arm and pointed towards the group.
"Now, deal with them."
Dim let out a roar and charged for them. The Elders tried to fight back against him but Dim proved to be too much for them, knocking them down and out. Rain-Bow grabbed Night's arm.
"We have to run!", he said.
Dim then confronted them. He grabbed Rain-Bow and threw him across the room into a wall. He moaned as he fell to the ground with dust and debris falling onto his side.
"Rain-Bow!", Night cried out.
Dim came into her prereferral vision. He looked down at her with a snarl as Night backed up near some pillars.

(Night kept having her father run into pillars that aligned the room, causing debris like loose marble to fall onto him. After three times, Dim had had enough and grabbed Night.)

Dim slammed down Night into the ground, who yelped. She laid up and saw her father slowly making his way towards her, like a predator sneaking on it's prey. Terrified, Night started to back away from him. Darkness watched from a distance then turned his gaze down to The Elders, who laid on the ground, motionless.
"Such fools. Was imprisoning me your one and only solution? Well, I guess I should thank you."
He got off of his throne and made his way towards them.
"After all, if I was never imprisoned, I won't been able to do this to you all", he finished with a smile.
Darkness looked back up to see Dim and Night.
"Show her what it means to be betrayed."
Night had backed up into a pillar feeling helpless.
"Daddy, please!", she cried out to him, but to no vail.
Her father was inches away. Dim was about to go in for the kill, when Night looked up to the top of the pillar she had backed up into. She got an idea. She then looked back over to her father, who was closing in on her.
"Dad, forgive me", she whispered to herself. Night took flight, leaving Dim to bash his face into the pillar. He then clawed at it, causing the pillar to slowly crumble apart. It got to it's last stance as it started to topple over.
"NO!", Darkness called out as the pillar made its way onto Dim crashing onto him, knocking him out.
Night was suspended in the air, shocked about what she had just done to her own father.
"You.... you might've been able to defeat him but you won't be able to defeat me!"
The sprits came out of Dim and flew into Darkness, who gained more power from them. He grew a bit, glowed and let out a roar. It let out an aftershock, making everything shake and crumble. Quick thinking, Night took flight towards him as he looked at her with his fierce pearl-white eyes.

(Darkness kept getting knocked at by Night, until he knocked her away and blew a hole through the ceiling, retreating through it. Night followed behind.)

Night kept going at Darkness while in the air until he grabbed her in his paw and slowly started to crush her. She let out a yelp as she felt her circulation being cut off. There was nothing she could really do. Night looked into Darkness' eyes and saw something. Those eyes--they were just like the ones she saw that night when she was on her balcony. They were the same here as they were before, looking into her as if they wanted something from within her. Suddenly, Night felt something, surging from within herself. It was a feeling of strength. The strength got stronger and stronger. Night could feel it. Her body's feeling started to come back. Darkness felt her gaining strength and proceeded to crush her even further. A flash of light came as Night broke free of Darkness' grip and flew upwards. Night glistening like glitter up in the sky, leaving behind a trail. She opened her wings and took up higher to the sky. Darkness watched in a flabbergasted manner. Once further up, Night opened her wings up again and this time was actually glowing. She opened her eyes which were glowing too. Darkness smiled at first, thinking he had turned her too, but found out that wasn't the case. Night began to flap her wings back and forth, releasing a sort of glitter substance from her wings, which coated Darkness, taking damage from it. He growled and swatted. The ground below him seemed to be giving away. Night kept going until Darkness was completely submerged under, letting out one last growl. Night drew her wings back and flapped them down with a huge whoosh of particles—dark magic. Darkness was no longer visible. After that, Night made her way back to Darkness' Castle.
