*Sydnei's POV*

"Where are you?" I asked into the phone. Mani was late getting me from school which was very unusual.

"Sorry babe, I had to stop by and get us something to eat."

My face softened a little when she said that. I was hungry as hell so I wasn't that mad at her.

"Mhmm, so stop frowning. I'm pulling up now." she said and hung up. I shook my head smiling. I cannot wait till my car get out of the shop.

I walked out and saw Mani parked. She was eating a BBQ chicken wing. I got in and leaned over for a kiss.

"Mmmmmmwaaaahhh" Mani exaggerated our kiss.

"How was my baby first day back?" she asked smiling.

I shrugged because I didn't know how I felt. School was okay, my grades were well, I just would rather be working.

"Fine, but--"

"No buts. You're sticking to school right now Sydnei. I'm not kidding. I got us. You need to become my sexy ass nurse and you're almost there so no buts." Kamani was so supportive.

This woman is all I need. I squeezed her hand and she smiled at me. Then we left and headed home to eat. Pulling up to our house, I noticed a car parked on the curb in front of our house.

"Who's that?" I saw a stud get out and lean on her car. She's cute..

"I want you to meet aomebody." Kamani grinned and got out with our food. The stud walked up to her and they did their little handshake.

"Baby, bring yo ass."

I got out of the car and walked over to them. The stranger saw me and smirked at Kamani. Okay, what the hell is all that about?  I wrapped my arms around my baby and stared up at the girl. She's pretty. With pretty eyes.

"Yo Soph, this is my baby Sydnei. Babe, this is my old partner Sophie." she introduced us.

I waved and smiled politely and she nodded.

"I heard a lil sum sum bout you." she said grinning devishly. I peeked up at Kamani and she looked away smiling.

"Oh yeah? I hope they were good things."

I walked off and headed to the house. Mani and Sophie followed me talking about some basketball game that was on last night.

"Bro, you can't tell me Kobe ain't the best dawg." Mani shrieked as they came in the door.

I took my food from her hands and went to the kitchen to eat. The two of them sat down in the living room and discussed more of the lame ass basketball game.

"Man, he ain't!!" Sophie argued, chuckling. Mani threw her hands up in disbelief and laughed it off.

"You wildin for that bruh." she said.

Their so cute. I wonder why they stopped being partners. They seem to get along just fine so why the separation? Hmm, they both are dominant as fuck. It's pretty hot... Unff.. I felt myself get wet and looked away from the living room. They were watching tv.

"Babe?" Kamani called me. I took one more bite of my apple pie and walked in the room.

"Yeah?" I wiped my gave to make sure there were no crumbs.

"Mmmmffff.." I moaned. Sophie tucked her lips in to keep from laughing and Mani cleared her throat.

"Yeah, I know you didn't. Go sit down somewhere. I'll be back in an hour." she walked out slamming the door.

I rubbed my neck nervously and stripped to take a warm bubble bath.
