After hours of riding on the lifeboat I finally reached a dock near an unknown city. I got out of the boat and let the ocean take it away with the tide. I didn't want Roman to track me because I know he must be looking for me by now.
I still had a few extra hours of daylight left and I headed into the city where people were walking. The more I navigated through the city I realized that it was more of a small town. I saw a population sign-27,367.

I was exhausted and hungry but I was determined to find somewhere safe to hide away for a couple of days before I decide what to do next.

I saw a motel across the street from where I was and I crossed over heading inside the motel's office. A tall slender and older gentleman with grey/white hair, his beard was slightly patchy and grey as well.

He smiled at me, "how may I help you miss?"

"Good evening sir, how much does it cost for one night?"

"$47.50 miss".

I search through my back pocket of my pants and luckily I found some small bills but I was short about 15 dollars.

I look up at the man in despair, "oh looks like I don't have enough, I am sorry to bother you sir, have a good day".

I turn to walk out and I head back into the streets, as I walked along the road I spotted a place that was hidden. I started to walk towards the area and looked around me to make sure that no one saw me. It was starting to get dark out and I was exhausted from the long and gruesome day.
With my back against the wall I slid down and snuggled my knees up to my chest. It was a bit cold out and I spotted some newspapers so I opened them up and covered myself. It wasn't very affective in keeping me warm, but it was something at least.
My eyes shut down on me and sleep took over my body.

I woke up startled, it was still dark out. I tried so hard to go back a sleep but I couldn't because it was much colder now. I was freezing and shivering. The night was dead silent and nothing but the sound of the wind in the air echoed through my ears.

..... Meanwhile from Roman's POV......

I looked out into the darkness of the ocean searching for the lifeboat.
Where on earth could she have gone! When I get my hands on her I will torture her until her mind collapses. How dare she leave me, after everything I did for her, I ruined my family because of that B****.
I clenched my teeth enraged by Star's ability to abandon me, ohhh she will pay for this I give my word.

I looked at my phone app following the lifeboat, she must still be out on the ocean. I called the captain and ordered him to follow the blue arrow representing the lifeboat on the map.

After 40 minutes or so I spotted the lifeboat floating so I flashed the light to see where is Star but it was empty.

I banged the palm of my hand on the railing of the yacht in anger. Damnit she is not with the lifeboat. Fear struck me when it hit me that Star could be dead, what if she fell into the ocean or something. The lifeboat is so far away from any lands and it was dark out for a few hours already. it's impossible for her to have swam to shore.

I ordered the captain to head back to the dock and I called my men to send helicopters and boats out in search of Star. I ordered a thousand men to search for her and they will not rest until they find her, dead or alive.

When I got back to our home I took a shower, I got out and dried myself off then wrapped the towel around my waist. I headed to the mirror in the bathroom and looked at my reflection. What if Star is really dead, how will I live without her she is my heart. What if I never get to hold her ever again. I did this, I killed her because I was being so rude to her. I don't know what got into me the other night, I gotta stop drinking so much around her. My rage turns my mind inside out and all I want to do is hurt her, her pain arouses me so much it's hard to hold myself back.

I do love her very much though and I know that I show her how much she means to me, I know she loves me back no matter what happens. I have to find Star alive, please god don't take her from me, I will do better from now on.

I was shocked to feel tears filling up my eyes and the pain in my heart was unbearable.
