For weeks now I have been coughing rose petals, I knew Todoroki didn't return my feelings, but, I thought he at least loved me as a friend... turns out he doesn't. The only person he's interested in showing affected to is Midoriya and I hate it, I know jealousy isn't the answer but I can't help it. I tear up as I sit on my bed, bracing my self for a fit of coughs. Petals spill from my soft parted lips and I catch them in my shaking hands. This isn't fair, why me of all people? I haven't done wrong in my entire life! I drop down onto my knees as I continue to cough the delicate rose petals. Once I had stopped coughing I shakily sighed and got rid of the petals, I got ready for bed and once again had a restless night. I never could have imagined how bad this disease would be.

I laid in bed till morning came and I heard the chirping of the birds. This was my cue to get up and get ready for another painful day at school. I made myself breakfast, said goodbye to my parents and left before they could notice my odd behaviour. I then met up with Bakugou, who surprisingly was a nice guy once you really get to know him. The feisty Pomeranian stared at me for a moment before it turned into a look of concern, he definitely knew something was off about me.

"(Y/N)... is everything okay? Your different today.."

"I- yes Bakugou I'm fine!"

"I know your lying, I've known you since middle school. Talk to me."

I sighed and let my self break in-front of him, Bakugou reacted quickly and held me close, he was like a brother to me and I trusted him with my life.

"You promise.... not to tell anyone Baku?..." I choked out between my sobs, I felt him nod.

"I promise (N/N).. hold on, let's go somewhere else to talk about it, extras are staring!" Baku made it clear to everyone to look away before he took me to a quiet area behind U.A. "Tell me" he stated as he looked at me filled with concern.

"Well, I love Todoroki ... but he doesn't love me back at all.." Tears once again welled up in my eyes.

"You have-"

"Yes Baku, I have Hanahaki...and it's really really bad!"

Bakugou didn't waste another second, he picked me up and left the U.A campus with me tightly in his arms. I've never seen him look so ... what's the word... upset? No... worried...

Time seemed to pass quickly and we arrived at a hospital, Bakugou explained the situation and a nurse came right out to me. She took me from Baku's arms and told him to wait outside so she could talk to me in private.

"Young man, I'm going to give you two options. One, to remove the infection however that will result in you loosing any romantic feelings towards the person you fell in love with. Two, I will not do anything but you will suffer from immense pain and a likely death if the person you have fallen in love with does not return those feelings... this is your choice." The nurse stated, looking at me for a moment before speaking again. "I suggest you choose the first one... it may be for the better"

"Get rid of it... please..." the words I spoke shocked even me, did I really want to stop loving Todoroki?
The nurse laid me down and gave me an anaesthetic to put me to sleep, I watched as my vision darkened and I fell into a deep slumber.

Katsukis P.O.V

I paced around the hall outside of the room (N/N) was in, biting my nails out of nervousness. Damn that Half n Half bastard, does he love anyone at all? I growled, (N/N) was like a brother to me, the only person i could really be myself around.. and the only person i can stand being around other than Shitty Hair and the rest of my squad..
"DAMNIT (Y/N) YOU BETTER BE OKAY!" I punched the nearest wall out of frustration, if (N/N) dies because of Half n Half I will bring him back and kill him myself!

Time went slowly, 2 hours seemed like 2 hundred until finally the nurse came out with somewhat good news.

"Sir, the young man will be okay now, however he won't be able to talk for a while. You may go in and see him." She smiled and opened the door for me to go inside, I went in and saw (N/N) lying on the bed, out cold. He looked so peaceful now he wasn't in pain. I wouldn't completely show it but I was happy he would be okay. For hours I sat with (Y/N), not leaving his side and waiting for him to wake up. Until, finally he started to stir.

Your P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes to see Baku sitting on a chair next to me, I tried to speak his name, however no words came out. I couldn't speak just like the nurse said so instead I smiled, yeah I felt like ass but now I wouldn't have to deal with the disease anymore.
Baku and I turned to the door as the nurse came in, telling us I was free to leave when I felt ready. With that I stood up, with a little help from Baku of course and we slowly made our way out of the hospital.

A few days passed and I felt well enough to head back to school, my voice was slowly coming back to me too which I was extremely happy about. I got out of bed, got ready and hurried out of the door, ready to get back to my studies and to see my friends. Today was going to be a good day, I can feel it!

I arrived at U.A and headed straight to class, I was early like usual so I sat down to read a book while I was waiting for every one to arrive. Only a few minutes passed before everyone started pouring into the room and the silence was disturbed. I put my book in my bag and decided to wave to everyone. I got a bundle of questions asked as to where I've been but Bakugou told everyone to 'Shut up' or he would kick their asses. I couldn't help but smile. Everything seemed normal again, except for the fact that Bakugou was a lot quieter than usual. Before we new it, class had started and I would have to wait to ask Bakugou what was up. I do hope he's okay....

Bit of a longer one this time that I've been adding too when I've had the time, I'm sorry i took so long to update but I hope you like this one!!
I may do a part two depending on what you guys think!
