Rejuvanated

As I was admiring the scenery of Busan I began to see a tall man with brown hair out of the corner of my eye. When my vision became clear I just admired him. He was stunning.  

"Hello I'm sehyun I will escort you to the prep room" He said. I looked at his facial features noticing his bright green eyes reminding me of my mother's garden.

"Hi I'm Kin-"

"I don't care nor do I have time for that. Their are other things I must tend to. I'm just here to show you to the room" Sehyun glared at me.

"Okay then"

As I was escorted into a room that looked much like a doctors office I looked around. Noticing several tools I wasn't really sure what they were for.

"Um do you know-" I noticed sehyun was gone.

"Guess not"

As I sighed I sat on the flat table waiting for someone to come in and talk to me. After about ten minutes I began to grow impatient. I decided to go out and search for someone when the door opened. It was a short woman with short hair.

"Hi my names doctor Kim but you can call me Dami. So sweetheart here's what we're gonna do I got to take a blood sample so I can see if you have any family in Busan that you can stay with. While I'm running that test you will get a makeover. Starting with a shower. I will come in after your finished and let you know what I find okay?"

I nodded my head hoping that nothing bad would happen. I just hoped my blood results would came back normal and not show that I was bitten.

I was drawn out of my thoughts when I felt a prick in my arm. I could feel my eyes tear up. Whenever I went to the doctor to get shots my older brothers would always buy me ice cream and make me feel better afterwards. Now i was just alone with no family or friends in a new town.

"Okay sweetheart I'll be back later okay?" As she left another women came in.

"Hi Kinly I'm Sohee I'm gonna help get you prepared to go back to a normal life in Busan. So first I wanna start with getting you showered. So take off your clothes and step in the tube."

As I was about to ask her where the shower was one lowered down from the left hand corner of the ceiling. I started stripping and stepped into the tube. The water turned on rushing down my body. I felt my muscles tense up. I forgot how nice it felt to take a shower

My mind began to take me back to the highway. The zombie climbing on top of me fighting to grab hold of my flesh and tear. As I closed my eyes I recalled the face of the poor man that had been infected. I couldn't help but think of how that was once an innocent man turned into a killer.

I could feel tears begin to drop. I wish I could have my brothers with me right now. I was scared and confused, I know that zombie but me, I know I should be one of them but I'm not and that scares me. I'm scared of what I can do to others.

I continue to bath finishing my shower. I step out drying off and look to my right to see some clothes on the counter along with deodorant and toothbrush and toothpaste. As soon as I'm finished I walk back into my room and sit in the chair I was once examined in.

As I looked around the room I started to think of my mother. Every doctors visit I had we would play ISPY in the room while waiting. Before any more tears could drop I heard a knock and the door opened.

"Hello Mrs.Kinly we ran your blood sample and found that you do in fact have relatives living as survivors in Busan." Dami said. She seemed so excited for me and so was I. I knew only of 2 people that could possibly have been saved and that was-.

"Your brothers Seokjin and Namjoon are alive in Busan" Dami said.
