Meta Knight X Female reader.

"Gahh!" (Y/n) gasped.
She looked around her. The place was unfamiliar. She didn't realize where she was. "Um..where am I?" (Y/n) said to herself. She saw a little pink borb infront of her. "Oh?"
"Poyo!" It said.
She was confused and wanted answers.
She realized she had a dagger in her back pocket of her jeans. She could use it if she felt the need to do so.
"Who are you? And, where am I?"
"Kirby!" A girl cried, running towards 'Kirby'
She felt a bit pissed. She didn't know where she was and felt like she was stupid and gullible.
"Hi, I am Tiff!" The girl said, stretching her hand out.
"I'm (Y/n), nice to meet you!" (Y/n) said, shaking Tiff's hand.
"Yeah and i'm Tuff!" Her brother said.
"And this is Kirby! He's a star warrior!" Tiff said.
A 'Star warrior'?
"He is?" (Y/n) said.
"Yes! He is very powerful and-"
Tiff was cut off by a slash out of nowhere.
"What the-?" She cried.
(Y/n) stood and looked infront of her.
"Fight me Kirby!" The figure looked just like Kirby but with a cape, a golden sword, shoes and gloves and a mask.
"Why should Kirby fight you?" Tiff said in her usually-cocky tone
"As requested by his majesty, I challenge you to a duel!" He said, laying down a sword for Kirby.
(Y/n) was confused by the sudden events. "Woah, woah, woah! What is going on here even?" She exclaimed.
Meta Knight looked at her and said nothing.
"Meta knight! Don't hurt him!" Tiff shouted.
With a slash of his Galaxia sword, he laid a gushing blow to Kirby's cheek.
"Oh my god!" (Y/n) exclaimed loudly. Luckily, she was good at patching up wounds. "Hold still little Kirby" (Y/n) knelt down and started treating his wound. "Interesting, Kirby is useless at sword fighting" Meta Knight whispered. He spread his batwings and flew off. "Who is that dude?" (Y/n) asked Tiff and Tuff.
"Meta Knight" Tiff mumbled.
(Y/n) didn't understand how Meta Knight had gotten such a reputation.
He wasn't so scary or fearsome. Just a bit intimidating.
"There." (Y/n) said, as she finished treating Kirby's cut.
"Poyo!" Kirby said as he hugged (Y/n).
She hugged him back, he was very cute,
after all. "It is getting late" Tiff said, looking at the sky, being flushed with a ripe mango and sunkissed cherry colour. It was beautiful. "Oh, I forgot to ask, are you new here?" Tiff questioned.
"Yeah, what is this place?" (Y/n) asked
"Welcome to Cappy town, in Dreamland. Planet Popstar!" Tuff announced, proudly
"What are you?" Tiff asked, out of curiosity.
"A human...?" (Y/n) told them.

-After a wild tour of Cappy Town and meeting everyone-

(Y/n) POV

Wow, what a day! I am in an unknown place with some new people. I was now in Tiff's and Tuff's home. Their parents, Sir Ebrum and Lady Like, were very nice people. I believe they are Cappies. I was playing a game with Tiff and Tuff. It was kinda fun. Except I felt something was going on. Tiff and Tuff showed me one room that I shouldn't have been showed, the Throne room. Where King Dedede and his companion Escargoon would sit and boss Meta Knight and his Knight allies around. I still wonder why he acted so edgy.? I wasn't lost too deep in my thoughts to decide to go spy on the king. If I got caught I could use the excuse that I was lost. I was standing behind a corner and there was the king on his throne talking to Escargoon. I looked across the room and saw..Meta Knight? I thought he was the bad guy? No? I had gotten here a few hours prior. Maybe I was seeing things? Perhaps...? Perhaps not. While I was watching the King, I realized it would be better if I didn't know what was going on,

I was so wrong.

-POV over-

Kirby was nestled in his nest while Tokori was hogging his house. Kirby drifted off to sleep and was dreaming of food and another glorious things and wasn't aware of what was happening in the castle. Dedede was on a call with NME and was ordering another monster. Meta Knight watched as he did so, yet said nothing. He watched as Bugsy walked over to Kirby's house and demolished Kirby's nest.

(Y/n) woke up startled and panting heavily. "What..was..that..?" She whispered to herself breathlessly. Her realistic dreams took every ounce of breath from her and she woke startled. She wouldn't accept her newly found friend to go down. It was pitch black outside and she raced to go protect her friend.

-At Kirby's house-

A monster swiftly approached the small dome. It spied Kirby in his little nest. It raised its sword about to strike...

(Y/n) screamed "Kirby!!"
He woke up annoyed.
Her life or his?
Her choice.

She jumped in front of Kirby and tried to fend off the monster with a lone dagger. It sliced across her arm. She groaned in agony. "I can't give up"

Kirby saw what was going on. He didn't like it. Not at all. He inhaled the monster's sword and became sword Kirby. With one slash, he defeated the monster.
"...." (Y/n) fell to the floor, onto her hands and knees.
"Poyo??!!" Kirby cried, checking she was ok.
"I'm fine, Kirby"
"Ok.." Kirby said, he wasn't buying it.

-At Castle Dedede-

"So, Meta Knight, did he defeat Kirby?" Sire asked.
"Um, not yet, your majesty." He replied, something bad was going to happen, a hissy fit was his best guess.
"WHY NOT??!"
"The human, she knew he was under attack and she saved him. She took a blow to her arm." He said in his Spanish accent.
"What's a human?" Dedede asked. His best assumption was a Cappy-like being.
"A different sort of Cappy, like a Cappy but not a Cappy, sire." Escargoon interrupted.
Meta Knight had an idea.

-The next day-

(Y/n) POV

*Yawn*
I was so tired. Last night's events were bizarre, again, I felt someone watching me. I didn't like it. I sat upright on the sofa, "So Tiff ,what should we do today?"
"How about a nice picnic?" She suggested. Tuff and Kirby decided it would be a good idea. "We have no food in the fridge, dears." Lady Like confessed.
"Isn't there a restaurant in this town?" I asked. They decided we go there instead.
Suddenly, a note slid underneath the door. It was a dark blue envelope with a gold stamp and the letter "M" on it.
The others recognised the style yet, I didn't know. "Come to Kawasakis, I have an offer for you."
It was weird. What "offer" was it?
"Let's check it out guys" Tiff said.
"Good idea, sis" Tuff agreed.
"Poyo!" Kirby was in on it.
Just me.
"Ok why not?" I agreed. I knew something was wrong.

-POV over-

The party walked to Kawasaki's and waited. The doors swung open and Meta Knight advanced to where they were sat. After last night's shenanigans, (Y/n) didn't want anyone near Kirby unless she was sure they weren't hostile. "I see you accepted my invitation?" The knight said, "Now, for my offer"
He laid a bag on the table, " You see, your friend, I have great interest in. Do you accept my offer?" Tuff looked in the bag, there was gold, silver, bronze, jewelry and toys. Tuff bounced up and down in delight. "I accept!!" He half-mindedly announced. Meta Knight snickered. Of course such a naive kid would accept the offer. Tiff was worried and turned to (Y/n). "Are you sure??" Tiff asked. (Y/n) nodded. She was a bit frightened but also very curious to find out what she would learn. "Ok, pleasure doing business with you" Meta Knight proclaimed. His side knights, Sword and Blade, were just sat down. "Can we eat??"
Meta Knight ordered and left.
When he was outside with the three, he spread his wings. "You can walk, Sword and Blade."
The two groaned.
"Hold my hand" Meta Knight told (Y/n)
She held his hand and he flapped his wings and flew. They were so high in the sky. The wind ran through her hair, the feeling was amazing! Meta Knight looked down at (Y/n), who looked like she was having the time of her life. He felt himself blushing. He honestly didn't know why he had bought her. Maybe out of curiosity? Maybe she was evil? Or maybe he felt something...else..? They reached the castle. It all felt so different with her around, he couldn't place it. He felt such weak emotions and could hardly truly express himself. Or maybe that's just what he thought.? (Y/n) knelt down to Meta Knight's heights as he was spacing out. She looked him in the eyes. No response. Lifted his mask. He felt himself blush immensely. How did he manage to make himself so gullible in the few seconds that he was spacing out. "Don't do that again" Meta knight mumbled, embarrassed.
"OoooOoooOo" Sword and Blade fanboyed. They knew how to piss Meta Knight off and they were good at it. When they got in, Meta Knight rushed to his room. He didn't know what else to do. Sword and Blade came over to (Y/n) "So~" Blade said. You new around here?'
(Y/n) didn't know what to do or say.
"Y..yeah?"
"I could show you around some time~"
"Oh, I have been shown around, actually" (Y/n) confessed. She didn't feel all too comfortable around him, he was too flirty. Meta Knight sat in his room embarrassed, he felt he got off on the wrong hand and felt a bit shy to correct himself.
