I'll tell you a secret of a girl my age,
who had the world but let her heart caged.
In the depth of the caged heart lies the power to fill a page,
that would inspire the world but leave her family in rage.

With a friend beside her she found herself hidden in the dark,
Stories and novels and poem she wrote all at their back
Cause if they knew her life would be filled with unforgettable marks.
Days passed and strengthened she was but their support did she lack.

And through the field of medicine did she go,
Even when her heart and mind said no
Because she was so scared to bring her family low
in disappointment, for that they did not sow.

Her world was crumbling as she was getting old.
She got chilly with her thoughts desperate when told.
She was alone in her world so big and cold.
A broken world which alone she couldn't mould.

She watched her dying hope with arms fold.
To tell her family the truth she wasn't bold.
And a life she wasn't destined was she being sold,
And like a treasure was she loosing time with value as gold.

What was she to do to make things right
When a great tomorrow was far from sight
And her dreams were not to treat but write
