Cyane felt something hit her shoulders making her squeak.

"Oi, treat that or it'll get infected."

Turning her face on her side, she saw a small packet. Inside it were a roll of gauze and a bottle of disinfectant. She was just staring at it, making the man beside her huff.

"That's not going to move on it's own, dummy." Picking the packet he just threw, he pulled out the antiseptic and raised his hand, waiting for Cyane to reach it.

When the woman didn't move, he crouched down, taking her wounded arm gingerly. Even with light hands, Cyane still flinched, body shaking and eyes watering. The woman was not only physically damaged but also mentally. Heaving a sigh, he gently pressed a hand on hers, patting it lightly.

"I know you're scared. It's a hell hole in here." He mumbled, removing the cigar off his mouth with his free hand.

"But you shouldn't let that affect you. You're strong. If you weren't, you wouldn't even be able to be here." Cyane heard it all but ignored it as flashes of the fight earlier that day kept playing in her mind.

Tears started welled up her eyes and with a soft sob, it started falling down as her body trembled from fear.

It's been a week since she started fighting for her life. Every morning she would be pulled out her cage and will be sent of to a stage, forcing her to kill others for her to live. She wasn't strong and she hated violence but everytime she felt almost dying, her body moves on it's own to save her.

It wasn't a pleasant feeling, being covered with the blood of her opponent and herself. The metallic scent of it was starting to stick on her skin, washing and scrubbing herself wasn't helping anymore. Her hair was now stained red and even with a whole bottle of shampoo, it wouldn't fade.

She wanted to beg her captor to stop his wicked games and just set her free but every time she remembers how he tightens the cuff on her neck when she speaks, all her words get stuck in her throat. Cyane endured the pain but as time passes by, she started questioning herself if her life was worth the suffering she's been experiencing.

"Hey, I know that look." She was snapped out her thoughts when the man flicked her forehead making her tears halt. She sniffled a bit before turning her gaze towards the man.

"Don't think of things that will make you feel bad." He mumbled under his breath, hands making their way to place the gauze around her arm. She didn't even noticed that he already cleaned the wound which she was grateful for, it was large and being aware of it getting disinfected was quite terrifying.

"When something is making things difficult for you. Just like the battle on stage, learn to fight back because one way or another, you'll be able to take it down and kill it."

It was the first time after she was abducted that she heard someone gave her encouraging words, even though it was constructed awfully, still, it made her let out a small smile.

"Yeah, kill the things that bring you pain."

It was the first time she spoke in a long run, making the man grin.
