Author's POV
The air was quiet but the tension can be felt. Jiyeol was sitting on a bench with Yeojin, waiting for Justin and Jisung. Hyeongjun and Yedam was standing up.
Today, they were gonna find evidence at the CCTV room that Saeri sabotaged their work.
How? They were gonna ask for the teacher's permission. The group fortunately didn't have any troublemakers, so asking the teacher for permission was easy. The group also mentioned to the teacher that they were gonna find evidence that someone ruined their project. Hearing out their intentions, the teacher allowed them to do so.
So here they are. Sitting at the bench waiting for Jisung and Justin, the late ones.
"Guys! We're here!" Justin breathes heavily and drinks some water. (He brought water)
"Sorry we're late." Jisung apologizes, also breathing heavily as he sits down beside Jiyeol.
"Why were you guys late?" Yedam asks, looking at them suspiciously.
"We had to do some errands." Justin sheepishly grins as Jisung nods his head in agreement. Yedam sighs but lets them off the hook for now.
Jiyeol sighs and stands up. "Well, let's go."
The group was walking towards the CCTV room in a rush. They weren't running, just fast walking.
Their lunch break ends at 1:00 p.m, so they were hurrying. It was 12:32 p.m.
After a few minutes, they have arrived at the CCTV room. You can feel the air conditioning from the outside which made Yeojin quite excited. It was their first time to go inside the CCTV room so it was understandable.
Jiyeol took a few deep breaths and slowly opened the door. Inside, they saw their teacher, another teacher and multiple screens.
"Teacher, why are you here?" Justin asks curiously. The others were also curious so they listened.
"Well, it would be better if I see it together with you so here I am. I'd also like to know if someone did ruin your work." The teacher said as the students nodded.
"I see."
The teacher faced the other teacher and smiled. "This is Sir John. He is in charge of this room. Please treat him kindly."
The students greeted and smiled.
"Pleased to meet you, students."
Yedam cleared his throat. "So we'd like to see the footage of the teacher's faculty room yesterday."
Sir John nods and does some computer stuff. (a/n: how am I supposed to know how cctv footages work? lol)
"Here it is." Sir John clicks his mouse and the footage starts.
It was the faculty room. There were some teachers. Two male students knocked at the door.
Jisung and Justin.
Jiyeol thought and continued watching.
Jisung and Justin then comes in after asking permission to do so and puts their project on their teacher's table.
"Fast forward a little please."
It was lunch time. The teachers weren't present since they usually don't eat at the faculty room. A female student walks in and takes their project.
"I knew it." Hyeongjun mutters to himself.
It was the class president, Saeri.
She picked up their project and looked at each direction, making sure no one was looking and smashed it to ground. She did it repeatedly until another student walked in. It was her friend. Saeri motioned her friend to keep quiet as her friend nods. Saeri stops ruining their work and walked out of the classroom with her friend.
The footage stops.
"Justice has prevailed." Justin smiles widely.
The students cheered and did a victory gesture. The teachers smiled with utmost sincerity.
Jiyeol sighs in relief and looks at Hyeongjun. He smiles at her and she does too. A small blush formed on her face.
"Well, I am disappointed at Saeri for doing such a thing, but you were able get your perfect score once again. I saw how good your project initially was so I give it a perfect score."
The students widen their eyes and smile even wider.
"We did it!"

When they were out of the CCTV room, they were all smiling.
Justin sighs in relief with a smile on his face. "We did it folks."
Hyeongjun grins and chuckles. "We did."
RINGGGGG~~~
"Welp, looks like we need to run."
"Ughhh I don't want tooooo!!" Justin whines as we laugh but start running.
"Hey wait up! Don't leave me!!!'
