Snowkit yelped and thrashed his paws, but all he was hitting was air. He yelped and cried and screeched, until he hit the ground, and the wind was knocked out of him. He could hear. He could hear the bushes rustling, the wind blowing, the prey scuttling through the brambles. But he could not see anything. It was too dark. He heard Leo's voice.

"Snowpaw?!" Leo yelped, he must've seen him fall. Snowkit did not reply, he just layed there, too shocked to move. Snowkit lay there, in the dark, the cold seeping into his pelt like water. Then he saw something. A little pool, it was an enchanting green. He looked into it, and saw his blue eyes, his white fur, but most of all, he could HEAR the waves hitting the rocks. I can hear..? He thought to himself.

"I can hear!" He yelped, running around the pool.

"I can hear! I can hear!" He was running at full speed now. He just kept running, shouting..hearing. Until he slipped. He ran too close to the pool and he fell in. The icy cold water pierced his pelt. He began sinking, slowly drifting to the bottom, unconcious.

Snowkit awoke, and he was still in the pool, the color turned a murky green. He tried to swim, but he only started sinking more. He finally gave up and took a deep breath. Snowkit then realized something. He was breathing underwater, and he could hear things. Something was definately wrong. His mind rushed, with many thoughts of what could be happening.

Am I going to Starclan?

Have I died?

Did I drown?

But, then the tortishell she-cat came swimming towards Snowkit. What was her name again? Oh. Spottedleaf.

"Sp-" Snowkit tried to call out to her but the words stuck in his throat. Spottedleaf grabbed his scruff, and started swimming downwards. She swam for what felt like moons. Then she let go, sais the two simple words 'Brace yourself' and swam away. Snowkit looked down, and he saw something. He saw his Clan. Thunderclan. He saw his mother, Sorreltail, walking alongside Squirrelflight. He saw Shadowclan, Windclan, and Riverclan. They were all chatting, as if Snowkit had never been swooped up by that hawk.

They've already moved on. He thought to himself. Then, he saw himself, trotting next to some Windclan apprentices. Snowkit had to double check, to make sure it was him. Snowkit tried to swim upwards, but he was just being pulled downwards by the water. Snowkit swam, until he hit solid ground, he then began walking, and he realized he was swimming in a waterfall. He lay there, tired and hungry. Then a cat, a beautiful golden she-cat, cautiously walked closer to Snowkit. Snowkit examined the cat, then decided she was no harm.

"My name is Dawnwisper, daughter of Tigerslash. I am from the colony of Ripplesun." The she-cats voice was smooth and sweet, like milk.

"I am Snowkit, kit of," Snowkit began to cough, "Thunderclan." Dawnwhisper advanced, slowly. She sniffed Snowkit, thn spoke softly.

"You're wounded. Would you like to come meet my colony? Our medicine cat could heal your wounds." She flicked her tail towards a gash on Snowkit's flank.

Snowkit nodded, too weak to speak. Dawnwhisper helped Snowkit up, and led him back to her Colony.
