Chase's P.O.V
Those words kept replaying in my head. I don't know. Just 2 or 3 weeks ago it was I love you too...not I don't know. "What do you mean taylor.you told me you loved me how can you just say I don't know" . I started crying not caring anymore. "Chase you have to give me time". Taylor said crying as well. "I-i just hate seeing you hurt...it's my fault...just promise...that we'll get back together someday". I said grabbing her hand. "I can't answer that chase.." . She said and sighed and pulled her hand away. "Ok..just promise me I can be apart of our child's life please". I pleaded and she lightly nodded as more tears streamed down her face. "Alright well imma go... I love you taylor..and I'm here for you" . I said and kissed her hand and walked off. Closing the door was the hardest part. I can't let her go...not just yet....
Taylor's P.O.V
It was hard to talk to chase. I feel really bad for saying I don't know when he told me he loves me. Maybe I did love him. I honestly have so much going on I couldn't even think straight and Chase thinks my brother is in the wrong but he isn't proving it. I know Josh didn't murder those people.
I turn on the tv to take my mind off everything.
"The man who has killed two people has been found he goes by the ma!e Josh richards".
What the fuck. No way. Guilt starts getting to me and I quickly grab my keys and walk out the house frantically running to chases. I start knocking quickly and Chase answers the door with whom looks like a girl standing behind him. "What's up are you ok tay". He asked seeing me panicking. "Everythings fine...you seem busy anyway" . I said walking off. "Taylor wait that my cousin" ! Chase yelled lightly chuckling afterwards. I felt stupid. "Now what's wrong". Chase asked again catching up to me. "Its my brother...He's in jail".
" wait so he was on the news and they said he was the person murdering our friends ". Chase asked as we drove to the police station. "Yes and I don't understand he didn't do anything ". I said and Chase did say anything after.
Once we got to the police station we walked in and saw Cassidy talking to the cops. What the actual fuck. "Cass". I said and she looked at me with a guilty look. "What are you doing here". I mumbled. "Your brother...um he tried to kill Tony". She was totally making up shit my brother would never kill anyone, !maybe fight but never kill. "Shut up your lying Cass he did not kill or almost kill anyone. "Ma'am I'm afraid your friend here is right there is video proof of your brother going into this man's room attempting to kill him". The police officer said turning on the t.v. Showing footage of Josh going into what looks like Tonys room with a knife. "Oh my god.my brothers a killer". I muttered. Chase can up next to me and sighed. "Wait Cassidy this looks like nicks room...but he was already murdered". Chase said . I figured he knows because hes been over at nicks house before. "Uhm.." . Cassidy said stuttering and she started sweating. "How do you know know it josh...He had a mask on...It shows on the video him wearing a mask". Chase questioned and Cassidy sighed the said "look...I kinda sorta teamed up with Josh only because I didn't want Taylor to get hurt". "What do I have to do with it". I questioned and she stuttered once more. "I um...No josh threatened to tell you that I slept with Alex unless I helped him hide the murders". "Wait so is it true..did you sleep with alex". "Yes.." . Cassidy said looking ashamed. Right in that moment did I not have anymore family but I did not have a best friend anymore...
