(Demi)God of war

CHΔPTΣR 1

A portal opened and out walked a man wearing dated clothes.

"Come on." The man gestured and out walked a boy wearing a black hoodie and faded jeans. His hair was pushed back but a tuft always managed to get in front of his face. He had tanned skin and he kept his hands in his pockets.

"You will spend a year with a human and learn to humble yourself. You will speak like them, eat like them and share a table with them." The man spoke with a booming voice. "Adonis?" The man turned around and began walking towards the portal.

"Whatever." The boy shrugged sourly.

"Keep your godhood to yourself boy, I'm serious. Divinity is best left shrouded in mystery." The man said.

"Fine, oh mighty God of War." The boy said nonchalantly.

"Do not make me pick you up early, it will not be pleasent." The man said and walked through the portal closing it behind him.

"Whatever." The boy pushed through thicket for a while until he walked up to a freeway and was startled by a car speeding past him the men inside were screaming and cursing. They were holding a bag of something. He then watched a flaming man fly past him, A woman propelling her self into the air by sending sound waves into the ground, a woman emerged from a shadow and followed them, and two flashes of light, one yellow and one red.

"What the hell is DC..." The boy muttered and continued walking.

Adonis shuffled into his apartment and plopped his bags onto the ground.

"Flying humans..." He muttered and ran his hands through his hair. He plopped down on a couch and stared at the ceiling. After two minutes of staring and thinking he felt an... emptiness in his stomach. He brushed it off as just his godly body adjusting to earth but then his gut rumbled.

"What in Tartarus?" Adonis rose from the sofa gripping his gut. He dug into his bag and crushed a rock in his hand. The debris began to shake and glow and it formed a circle in Adonis' hand. Aries' face was in the circle.

"Already boy." Aries spoke.

"Why does my stomach feel like this."

Adonis said angrily.

"Hunger boy. You are hungry. Maybe if you payed attention in your earths creatures class you would know." Aries boomed. "You have four more of these communication stones if you use them all you will stay down there for a human lifetime."
Adonis shook his head.

"You turned me human?!" Adonis screamed.

"I gave you human draw backs." Aries said

"Is that a harp? Where are you?!" Adonis asked after listening .

"Oh, Dionysus invited me to a party. Unfortunately, he is piss drunk and Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon are all fighting. Again. Yay."

Adonis stifled a laugh, which made Aries hang up abruptly.

"Well alright then. Where do I find food." Adonis muttered.
