Today is William's third day here. I was swinging on my wooden swing that was hung from a tree. The light shown through the leaves. William walked to me leaving marks in the light green, morning dew drizzled grass. I got up and walked to him.
"Shall we go riding, my lady?" William pecked my cheek with a kiss. He wants things to happen fast, but I have only known this boy for four days. We walked to the stables and got out my favorite horse. We got on the horse and went into the enclosure. The horses name is Oliver. My other horse's name is Miles. They are our riding horses. Our carriage horses are Christopher, Humphrey, Hugh, and Lancelot. I named most of the horses.
William rode in the front and controlled Oliver. I rode side ways and held onto William's stomach. My head rested on his shoulder. My lose hairs flowed in the wind. The cool, brisk air was refreshing on my skin. The fall weather was settling in. Which meant winter was right around the corner so we have to prepare. I got lost in thought while riding the horse. It happens every time. William's scent filled my nose. Life was well and it felt like nothing else mattered, except here and now. I was torn out of my hypnotic state as I flew through the air.
Oliver jumped over a fence under the control of William. Time was passing incredibly slow. The world around me came crashing down. I was trying to accept that I was going to die. I tried to brace myself for the impact that would kill me, but I felt like some one was holding me. I prayed, Dear Lord, have mercy on my soul. Let me meet my sister again. I landed on my side and it sounded like every bone in my body had just been crushed, but I felt nothing. I smashed my head against the ground, but not as hard as it should of. Then everything went black. I saw everything that had happened in my short time here on Earth. I saw myself walking towards a light. I heard Marie's voice, "Stay on the mortal plain, Ruth. Live a long life. Live for me. I am always here to protect you. We will meet soon enough. Just promise to stay."
