Chapter 8

Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
I am speechless.
"What are we supposed to do?"
"What do you mean by that? We have just to do the business and leave, simple."
"It's not simple she's my f*cking friend" I said crying "I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE " I shouted.
This isn't right. I should not lash out at him but l can't think straight. I am panicking......

"Are you sure that they will make it?"
"They have no choice but to do it. "

At the lobby

I am standing there alone with that male figure for five minutes. There wasn't anything else inside the room. A creepy white was everywhere. Then l heard a sigh.
"What was that?" I asked almost stuttering.
"That was me do not worry." I heard a deep Male voice.
"So you are a girl...interesting.."
"Yeah...and you a boy."
Silence
Suddenly everything went black.
The transition from white to black became into reality in a flash.
I was shocked and scared. I couldn't feel anything.
I wanted to scream to the boy to see if l was alone.
But l forgot to ask him at least his name.
Then l found myself lying in the middle of the street,Considering the cars' sounds.
"GET UP GET UP " l heard a familiar voice saying. I heard footsteps too.
Then someone lifted me up and it was a matter of seconds until we both laying down on the sidewalk.
I looked at him. That figure it was him. That voice belonged to him. I felt strange. I didn't feel very comfortable with him.
"Are you okay?" He said
I stood there. Speechless. Inside l was screaming.
He was beautiful. He has brown eyes, fluffy black hair, tall, having medium weight and judging from his looks, he is asian.
"Ummm are you okay or is there an error with the connection?"
"No l just , l am shocked...."
"For my looks?" He said smiling
"I guess you are full of yourself..."
"Nope believe me."
I stared into his eyes l was speechless.
"So, where are you from?" He asked.
"From Greece"
He just stood there. In shock?
"What?" I said trying to understand his reaction.
"I thought there were only museums and ancient sightseeings"
"Well there are eleven million people living there"
He seems strange.
"Hey Um l..... l seem strange l guess. I am truly sorry. It's my first time playing in this game and.." he took a deep breath.
"Hey it's okay. We will start learning each other as time passes by. My name is Nicole and l am sixteen years old. "
"Nice to meet you. " He bowed. "My name is Taehyung and l am twenty years old."
Shit he is an adult. The situation is awkward as f*ck. But he seems innocent.
Nicole do not judge a book by its cover. He may hide something under his beautiful face and sexy body.
He started walking. He was afraid.
"HEY ARE YOU GONNA LEAVE ME HERE ALONE?"
"No it's just that you seem very uncomfortable with me. "
"That's because we just met."I took his hand into mine. "We are in this together".
He smiled. That smile......
"What about our mission? What are we supposed to do?" He asked.
We were still holding hands. Nicole DO NOT  panick.
"I don't know...." l said softly.

We continued to walk. We were walking into the unknown. But we weren't afraid. Taehyung had me. And l had him.
We sat in one of the benches.
"Do you think that this town exists in reality ?" He said , his sparkling eyes looking at the sky.
"I don't think so , but it's beautiful." I answered turning to his side.
Then l saw something strange.
"Taehyung look behind you"

Everything then went crazy.
There was a teen girl lying on the grass , her head covered in blood.
Some people were crying.
That scene reminded me of....
"NICOLE WE HAVE TO CALL AN AMBULANCE WE CAN'T LEAVE HER LIKE THAT"
"Okay I'll do it" l said searching my phone .
"I am going to see her state. "He said
"Okay "
He then turned to me and said something unexpected.
"I guess that is our mission"
He then left leaving me dumbfounded.
Then a question stuck in my mind.
Why was she shot and from who?"
Nicole you are not a detective.
Then l saw him running towards me.
"Luckily she is conscious and in a stable condition."
We heard sirens.

The weather became windy all of the sudden. Because of the wind a leaf from the adjacent tree was placed right in front of us.
Taehyung picked it up and read something that was written in it.
Find him

"THAT'S OUR FIRST MISSION" we shouted in unison and chuckled.

We have to find that bastard.

After two hours

"In conclusion that's the guy" he said with a smile.
"We are fast "
"I know. Now let's go and catch that piece of shit"
Wearing black clothes, we headed to his secret hideout. Before leaving our place of research we called the local police just in case.

We are standing there. Right outside his house. Inside there is the man that almost killed that girl.
I was afraid. What if something bad happens...
"You have me Nicole. Nothing bad  is going to happen. I am here. " he said with a reassuring smile.
Then the police arrived
We just leave them do their business.
According to the instructions we are not allowed to do something else unless we are in level ten.
After we went back to lobby.
Back in that white room.
Luckily he was still there.
"We leveled up,we did such a great job.Do you want um, to continue in this journey together?"
"Yes , of course!" I said smiling.
"HEY WAIT !" l said
"What?" he turned to face me.
"Would you mind telling me your Instagram account? In order to chat. I want to learn more about you. In the game we only talked about finding the criminal."
"Yep, sure"
Then his username showed behind him with a green heart.
"Why not red ? " l said wanting to see his reaction.
"Ummmm" he looked at his feet as his face was red as a tomato.
"Okay never mind. I guess it's time."
"Bye see ya on chat" he said waving at me
He's cute

Then l returned back to my room.
I was laying on my bed.
Wait a minute.....
Before l played , l had sit in the chair.
Anyways.....
It's five am in the morning , luckily l don't have school classes today.
I guess l will sleep all day
Then l saw a massage on direct.....
It was Taehyung
I will reply when l wake up now l want to sleep.

6 am
Fuck l can't sleep. Let's scroll through my feed....wait let's answer in Taehyung first.

Well, l guess he questions all the time if he makes me uncomfortable because he's scared? Or does he have any bad intentions? If it's the second option ,then l will report him.
Boys in that age are extremely dangerous.

6 am
"Kangmin why did you wake up this early? Are you crazy or something?" My brother's said as l was walking down the stairs.
"You are awake too" l glared at him
"Well l am translating with Chris an episode "
"Okay l got it, l just can't sleep"
"Okay fair enough"

Then a notification popped up into my phone's screen
Message from Nicole? At this hour?
