"FUCK" I screamed in pain. Everyone turned their attention on me and Giovanni's gaze turned to my big ass stomach that was about to pop.
"What's wrong?" He asked frantically.
"It's the baby"
"What? Are you serious?"
"No I'm kidding. Of course baby why would I lie"
"Alright... uh fuck. Giuseppe get the car, girls you stay with Chiara we are going to the hospital"
"Fuck it hurts" I said holding the stomach
Giovanni lifts me up bridal style and get me out the house. "Breathe it's ok I'm right here baby"
We get in the car and we speed to the hospital. Is this really happening? No it can't be right?
We arrive after couple of minutes and Giuseppe parks the car and turns off the car and both him and Giovanni get out to help me.
Giovanni's POV:
"I need help my wife is pregnant and she has pain in her stomach""
"Ok I'll get the nurse right now" receptionist says. "The nurse will out out in a minute to wheel her to a room and then the doctor will come in and he's gonna give her an ultra sound to see whats wrong"
"Alright hurry please"
After 1 minute the nurse wheels Lana into a room and Giuseppe and I wait impatiently for the doctor to tell us whats going on.
"Who's the father?"The doctor asks walking out the room.
"I am" I said raising my hand. "Is my wife ok?"
"She is but the baby isn't. The umbilical cord is knotted around it's neck, not allowing any nutrients to get to him. In order to save the baby you'll need surgery"
"of course, yes we will do the surgery" I replied. "is it complicated surgery? will my wife and baby be fine?"
"your wife definitely will be and I hope the baby will be as well." he replied. "we are going to get her into another room and prepare her for the surgery. it's not complicated I've done it many times before it's a C- section we will need to do it to save the baby I promise you everything will be fine"
After an hour of nervously pacing around the hospital the doctor finally walked out the room.
"How are they?" I asked.
"Both you're wife and the baby are safe and recovering. Congratulation's you have a beautiful healthy baby boy"
Oh my god. I have a baby boy.
"Thank you so much doctor" I said excitingly shaking his hand.
"No worries, both of them will have to stay in hospital for a about a week or so maybe even less just to be safe"
"alright thank you again"
"Your welcome. By the way if you want to go see your wife, you can we brought her back to the room already but she's on a sleeping medication so she will be out for a while"
"Yeah I'll go to her now. Thank you"
"Oh and one last thing when she wakes up press the red button on the remote on her bed, it will notify us that she's awake. We'll just have to check her vitals to make sure she's doing alright"
"Ok thank you again"
Walking into the room with Giuseppe following closely behind I walked over to the side of the bed and grabbed Lana's hand in mine.
"She did so well Gio Congrats"
"thank you man. I can't believe it, who would though huh?"
"you certainly surprised us all" Giuseppe added. "I'm proud of you"
"it's all her. if she wasn't in my life I wouldn't even know what to do" I replied. "she deserves everything"
"so do you man"
fast forward to 2 years later...
Lana's POV:
its been 2 years later. god how fast the time flys huh? it feels like it was just yesterday when I had Milo. he's now 2 years old and each day he starts to look just like me.
Chiara has turned 9 and yesterday for the first time she called me mum. I instantly cried.

everything has been going more than well. I feel like my family this time is complete and I wouldn't change it for the world.
This have been hectic though I might add...
Lorenzo and the rest moved in with us and I actually love living with everyone. that way I can get help with the kids when Giovanni and I go out. but damm so much has happened this past 2 years...
well firstly Angel and Lorenzo got engaged and I was genuinely surprised. Mia and Giuseppe have been going out for a while and want to take things to the next level which is incredible. Bella and her Tahitian boyfriend tino that she met a year ago have been travelling all over the world and mainly staying in Tahiti where Tino is originally from. and lastly we have Matteo who has stayed back in Tuscany with his pregnant girlfriend Maria and they are expecting a baby girl.
so everyone have been more than fine. everyone met their soulmates and I'm glad for that. I just can't wait for Angel, Bella and Mia to have kids so that our kids could be best friends and hang out together. so far my life has been more than perfect especially with my beautiful supportive husband by my side. he has been such a devoted father to our kids and I'm internally grateful for that, seeing his mature and grow up it's truly incredible.
I cant wait for this journey and seeing the kids grow up and have families of their own. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for us and I know that no matter where we are we will always be happy and find comfort within each other.
"I'm so happy baby. this is exactly how I wanted my life to turn out" I said kissing Giovanni on the cheek as we sat outside in the backyard.
"same. I know life wouldn't be the same without you, Chiara and Milo. I'm grateful" he replied caressing my shoulder. "Do you regret anything?"
"no. this is exactly where I am meant to be, with you and the kids"
"I love you always" he said.
"I love you more"
"Mum tell me the story of how you and dad met" Chiara said running to us. "I want to hear it again"
"well..." Giovanni smirked at me.
