Namjoon stirred up lazily from his sleep. Despite the nightmare the dinner turned out to be, he didn't want to let it affect him. Instead, the omega decided to push the thoughts away and forget about the night. It wasn't worth it. Yoongi's words didn't mean anything to him. Why should they when they were basically strangers to each other.
Mondays were Jungkook's days off and since Yoongi hadn't deemed worthy to return home, Namjoon had the apartment to himself.
After his shower, Namjoon made his way to the living room. He happily hummed along to the song playing in his earphones. It was part of his routine to do so. Ever since he moved in with the alpha, he had taken on the habit to spend the first hours of his days dressed in nothing but his boxer and an oversized t-shirt while cooking breakfast. It was liberating in a way he could have never suspected before. Without the alpha around to drive him crazy, things were more simple. He didn't have to worry about his feelings or about controlling his scent as much. His emotions seemed to be more in check when Yoongi wasn't around. Namjoon snorted. There was just something about the alpha that made him lose his control. He couldn't explain how or why, but it happened.
Namjoon moved around the kitchen swiftly, body guided by the rhythm of the music. He rocked his hips to the sound, twirling and laughing as he did. Nothing was holding him back. Except maybe from the persistent memory of Jimin's texts coming back to him. He didn't want to think about it. However, it was impossible to ignore. A bang of guilt tightened his throat at the idea of Yoongi being hurt by his attitude before he remembered the alpha's words towards him. Namjoon deeply sighed, resting his hands on the kitchen island. It just didn't make sense. Yoongi had never shown any interest in him. He remembered bitterly the way the alpha had been flirting with a woman at the party the night before, his blood boiling instantly. Yoongi even told him that he was allowed to have an affair - not that Namjoon needed his accord on anything, so how dared the alpha complain about Hoseok? And why would Jimin even mention the latter? Namjoon starred in the void, his brain going over the facts again and again. It just didn't make sense.
Suddenly, the music switched to something slow, smooth, and sensual. Namjoon gasped in excitement as his favorite song started to play. He let go of the fork he was holding on the counter in favor of dancing his way to the living room. He let his hands suggestively slide down his thighs. Moving in concordance to the lyrics. The omega threw his head back as he moved his hips in circles, singing along to the song.
Namjoon was so absorbed in the music that he forgot about his surroundings. With his closed eyes, it was impossible for him to see the man leaning on the door frame.
The omega, completely oblivious to his new spectator, continued his dance. He caressed his torso, his fingers grabbed the hem of his shirt, lifting it just enough to show the boxer underneath. He played with the hem between his fingers before moving his hands away to brush his hair back with his hips rocking in a circular motion. Namjoon didn't open his eyes until the voice in his earphones had faded away and the music slowed down.
He was laughing happily as he rested on the couch and went through his phone when he heard applause. Namjoon whipped his head up, eyes widening as he saw Kim Seokjin standing by the entry with a smirk on his face.
'Wow, that was beautiful.' The beta said in a mocking tone.
Namjoon frowned. He normally wouldn't have been offended by something coming from Seokjin, but he somehow felt bitter at the memory that his husband spent the night at the other's house. The omega scoffed, arms crossed defensively on his chest.
