Ok so in this story the whole dabi-is-a-todoroki theory doesn't exist. The league doesn't exist cuz i made them all be dabis 'normal' merfriends.

Hawks Pov

I had a day off and decided to fly to a beach i once found on my patrol. It was beautiful, hidden behind a little forest. It's almost unbelievable that no one has found it yet.

When i landed there i sat down and took my jacket off. I laid down a bit and listened to all the birds, the wind, the sea, the waves that washed shells on the beach again and again.

Suddenly i heard a little cry from the right. As a hero, i had to check if everything was ok. So i walked over and what i saw took my breath away.

Dabi PoV.

I just wanted to have a normal day, exploring a bit. But suddenly this big wave came and washed me onto this stupid yet beautiful beach.

As i opened my eyes i saw the sun and how beautiful it was. I was about to enjoy it and decided to get back into the water in a little, since i could be above water for about 1 hour before i'd need to go back.

But no of course life wasn't that nice. I tried to turn a bit when i suddenly felt smt on my fin. I looked down and saw a little thing that looked like plastic. It had a whole and in the whole my fin got stuck.

I tried to get it off but it rubbed so much that i feared it would cut into my merman tail and it make it bleed. That was the point where i didn't know what to do. If i'd try to rip it off, it'd cut into my tail. If i'd do nothing i'd die here.

I tried to yell for help but no one was here. I just laid back down and thought about my situation, when i suddeny heard something. It sounded like wings. Like big wings.

I waited a bit, when i suddenly saw a man with red wings landing on the beach, getting out of his jacket.

I tried to yell for help but he didn't hear me. I yelled a little but more and after 3-4 tries he finally heard me.

Hawks PoV.

There, right in front of me was a whole merman, not to forget a beautiful one. I rubbed my eyes to make surei wasn't hallucinating. I must've been staring for a while cuz suddenly he said:

(Dabi = D, Hawks = H)

"I'm totally real, so no need to stare at me like i'm not." (D)

"U-u're a mermaid!" (H)

"A merMAN, to be specific. Now if u wouldn't mind, my fin is hurting and i need ur help" (D)

"Oh yeah sure... Just.. Just let me get my jacket really quick. I should have a knife in it." (H)

After that i ran off, got my jacket and ran back. He was still there. So i wasn't crazy.

I got my knife out and started to carefully cut the plastic off. It's really terrible, how many humans just throw it away.

When i waa finished, i put the knife back in my pocket and stood back up.

"Thanks dude. I really owe u smt. How about i show u the world of us?" (D)

"But isn't that underwater? I can't breath underwater." (H)

I was a bit confused. How would i see his world?

"It is, but there is a little mythos, that if a mermaid or merman does smt, humans can breath underwater for a few hours. Tell me, do u want to see my world?" (D)

"Yes i would love too" (H)

"What would u do to see my world?" (D)

Ok now i was getting kinda excited.

"Everthing!" (H)

"Good then get a little closer and sit down." (D)

I did as he said, cuz i was curious what he would do.

"Good now close ur eyes" (D)

I closed my eyes, suddenly i felt something on my lips! I opened my eyes and saw his face right i front of me. Then it clicked. He was kissing me!

I was shocked at first and wanted to pull away but then i melted into the kiss.

When he licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance i gladly gave in. It was a good fight for dominance but he won.

After a minute or two, i wantes to pull away cuz i needed oxygen. But he didn't let me! I tried to get away harder but he just put his hands around my neck pulling me closer.

I felt like my lungs were gonna explode in need for air. When i was close to passing out he finally let go of me and said:

"Now u should be able to breath underwater" (D)

I was shocked. I thought he did that just cuz he may've fallen in love with me. I never thought it could be the way to let me breath underwater. I was a little dissapointed.

Dabi PoV.

I saw a little dissapointment in his eyes, he probably thought i did that out of love. I mean... I owe him my life, he also was quite handsome, i gotta admit that. Not liking how he looked a bit sad, i tried to lighten his mood a little:

"Btw u are quite a good kisser, not bad, birdy" (D)

That's when i saw that beautiful smile of his for the first time.

"Wow... " (D)

"Hm?" (H)

"Oh nothing! Hehe" (D)

"If u say so. Wanna go explore the water now?" (H)

"Of course" (D)

He stood up and walked towards the waves. When he stood there looking at me i realized i stared at him for kinda long and pulled myself forward,  right into the water.

When i was under the surface, i looked back up to see the guy having a bit trouble believing me, but after a minute he convinced himself and jumped into the water.

At first he struggled a bit trying to find out how to breath, but when i told him that it was just like breathing normally he finally got it. (Don't ask me how that would work, k? I just need it for the story)

Hawks PoV.

I jumped in and after the merman told me how to breath, i finally got it. He told me to hold his hand and i blushed a bit but did as he said.

When i held it he suddenly swam forwards with a speed that could be compared to me in the sky when i know that there r free chicken nuggets somewhere.

He showed me his home which looked more like a house then i would've expected. I turned so that i could swim on my back and swam over a couch.

Later that day he also showed me his friends Tenko, Toga, Twice, Spinner and a magician called Mr. Compress. He also told me that Tenko didn't like his family at all and prefered to be called Tomura Shigaraki.

We all got along very well and at the end of the day i had made a lot of friends.
