We reached our homeland at dawn, both my steed and I raced off the ship we both kissed the ground and began the long trek home. I walked at his side, he snorted and nudged me in the back. "It's okay we'll be home soon." We kept walking till we could finally see the tents swimming into view my horse neighed and sped up, I trailed behind him the journey had tired me out. My horse and I crossed the threshold of the camp, we both collapsed, exhausted. I heard shouts from men calling for Drogo. I saw his big hulking frame running towards me.
He knelt next to me, placed his arms under me, and lifted me off the ground. I laid my head on his chest. I was safe. "Anna's okay ajjin." (It's okay now) he said all words failed me I had no energy. He laid me down in our tent, his strong warm embrace still wrapped around me. The fire already set, the smoke escaped through the middle of it. He gave me water, fed me, and made sure the animal skins were wrapped tightly around me. He kissed my head and pulled me towards him tightly. We didn't need words, touches and looks were enough. "Disse remekat, remekat," (Just sleep, sleep,") he said and stroked his fingers through my hair. The heat from the fire made me dozy and wasn't long till I fell asleep in the arms of my Khal.
When I woke up Drogo still had his arms wrapped around me, but he too had given into slumber. I looked up at him, he was peaceful the most rested he had been in a long time. I tried to stand up but his strong arms stopped. "Yer're vo elat anywhere," (You're not going anywhere,) he said.
"Davra," (Fine,) I said and threw myself against his chest gently, he kissed my head softly.
"Astat anna ki yeri journey, fin tat jin outside rhaesheser athtihar ven?" (Tell me of your journey, what does the outside world look like?) he asked.
"Me's fish. Mel rules jin rhaeshi. Me's chaos, everything ajjin jin threat," (It's cold. Evil rules the lands. It's chaos, everything is a threat,) I replied. His soft expression turned to a sad one. "Fin troubles yer anna khal?" (What troubles you my Khal?) I lifted my hand and rested it on his cheek, my fingers brushed through his beard.
"Their rhaesheser sounds mel vos, ki athfiezar che loyalty," (Their world sounds evil, no love or loyalty,) he said squeezing me in a tight hug.
"Haji kifindirgi anha rushed irge tat yer," (That is why I rushed back to you,) I said looking up at him. The fire began to die, he moaned as he stood, walked over to the other side and grabbed a log, he threw it onto the dying flames, he prodded it with a stick and the fire reignited again. He collapsed next to me crossed legged, I rested a hand on his knee, he grasped it gently and lifted it to his lips gently and softly kissed my knuckles, his eyes locked with mine.
