I was awake before Drogo I had slipped out of his arms and walked to the lake. I lifted my head to the moon I was lucky to be here, surrounded by a clan who respected me. I crouched next to the lake, a few of the horses glanced at me before going back to dozing. It was peaceful here. No wars, no arguments, okay maybe the odd fight but all that remained here was love and respect. "Laz't remekat?" (Can't sleep?) Drogo asked crouching next to me, his long hair unbound and touched the surface of the water. I shook my head.

"Anha'm vo haqe," (I'm not tired,) I said turning to him and rested a hand on his cheek. A few horses neighed distracting us for a few seconds. He huffed a laugh.

"Yer avvos hash ato tat mithri," (You never were one for rest,) he chuckled and rested a hand on my back giving my braid a gentle tug. I giggled and leant over to rest my lips on his, I had tamed the great stallion everyone in the clan knew it. Most of the women were jealous at first, till I proved my worth. Not a single clan member challenged me anymore.

"Akka busy, keeping yeri ei sandi," (Too busy keeping you all safe,) I said huffing a laugh.

"Yer avvos zigereo tat," (You don't need to,) he replied sitting on the bank of the river and pulled me onto his lap. I lost my footing and fell against his chest making us both laugh, a deep laugh bellowed from his chest. I watched as the moon hid behind the clouds and shrouded us both in darkness, Drogo clutched me tight to his chest, rested his hand on my stomach and kissed my head. His breathing was steady and relaxed. My presence kept him calm. I suddenly sat up, I saw torches in the darkness. "Fin?" (What?) he asked. He followed my gaze.

"Hethkat jin mahrazhi," (Ready the men,) I demanded racing up and ran to my tent pulling on my armour. A few moments later and the horn was blown, I emerged and leapt onto my horse's back. I led the charge, we thundered and splashed across the river, a night ambush was something these soldiers weren't going to win, within moments our blades sparked and met. Drogo and I split off, I was pulled from my horse but I landed on my feet and threw the attacker under the thunderous hooves of my steed. I was coated in blood, brains and bone fragments, like a rabid dog I threw myself into the fight.

Many a soldier fell to my scythes. Drogos roar echoed around the plain as he ended the lives of the soldiers. Horses kicked up dust as they raced past and blinded men who I sliced their heads from their necks, headless corpses fell at my feet. We fought till dawn. As the sun peeled the darkness from the battlefield we saw the devastation of the night's events. Our numbers stayed strong but the soldiers had lost many. "Burn eyak ei!" (Burn them all!) I yelled.
