The year is 1979. It is 3:00 a.m., and a plane flying just 150 miles south of Lake Ontario has just been struck by lightning. There is not even a chance of recovery. It simply drops out of the sky.
Among the dead: the pilot; a stewardess, named Lisa Arron; and a young couple listed as Estelle and Jim Jackson. They were supposed to be traveling with their young daughter, but by some stroke of luck, or Fate, she is safe at home being watched by her uncle.
